DEF: Looks really good with 3 definite keepers in Goddard, Gibbs and Birchall. Heppell could easily take the next step this year and push his average towards the high 90's. Broughton is a bit of a risk so will need to see what kind of role he plays for GC in the NAB Cup.

MIDS: A little bit weak here with Fyfe at M4. I would prefer to see him at M5. Either way, he has the potential to lift his average above 110 this year I reckon. Gaff is a gun but are you planning on him being a keeper? I don't think he is there just yet. If you can afford it I would upgrade Gaff to a proven premium. GAJ, Swan and Murphy are all good picks.

RUCKS: Cox and Luey are both good picks but I would prefer to see Cox in your fwds. Goldstein looks good value in the ruck this year.

FWDS: Rocky should be one of the top 6 fwds this year. Stevie J may not play round 1 after his Ballantyne hit so be wary of that. I also think he is very up and down so might need to look elsewhere. Mitch Robinson is more suited to DT, not SC, so I would swap him for somebody else. Martin has the potential to go bang this year. Hopefully he can stay out of trouble.

Overall a nice team that just needs a couple of little changes. 8/10.

I feel with the other mids I.e pendles watto etc there is no value as their price will be pretty much the same if not lower throughout the year whereas murph, fyfe and gaff provide me with options as they are more value picks.  later as to weather to keep them or not depending on their price increase and those of other premiums. Rucks and forwards need a bit of tinkering for sure.

Your mids look fine no need to touch them. Broughton to D Pearce would be a smarter pick. I'm not keen on Robinson I like walker or wright here but I could be wrong. Maybe look at Rowe in your forward subs, not sure how much game time he'll see but he's a good dip link for cox

This is true, however...

If you are quietly confident that pendles watto etc are going to be required players, then why not start with them and cut risk, save trades and score more?

Obviously we can't start with 22 keepers but why not go for the ones you are more confident will be top shelf for their respective positions.

I get the up side of Fyfe, Murphy etc, but they aren't really going to make you money if you are going to keep them and unless they outstrip the likes of GAJ and Swan they are still going to be affordable when you trade in 2 rookies for one of them and another rookie on the bubble.

I think D4 can be weaker this year to allow stronger forwards from the start.

I too would swing Cox forward and have Rowe / MrBean / Some other WCE guy I think for DPP.

No Buddy or Cox in forward line makes it quite soft.
Robbo and Dustbin! Not for me.

Good luck.

Def: Solid with 4 premiums you probably could get away with three this year
Mids: Can't Fault Fyfe should play more games and improve his efficiency.
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Just Watch the Nab cup to see how Wright and Martin are performing whoever is down on form i would upgrade

Overall Your team has improved considerably Mitch Robinson wasn't a good pick in Supercoach. So i give your updated team an 8/10

Hey guys thanks for the feedback, my updated team is as follows.

Backs - Goddard, Gibbs, birchall, Tambling, l. Stevenson , b. goodes (docherty,trelich)
Mids - ablett,swan,Murphy, Pendles ,Cochin, k. Mitchell, b.crouch, vlastuin (viney,o'mera)
Rucks - Goldstein, luey ( witts, Rowe)
Forwards - cox, rockliff, M. wright, Martin, Byrnes, patton, ( mcaffer, lee)

Please can you give me some feedback. I know Tambling is a bit of a risk and could become someone else. If used vlastuin in the mids for his dpp and added extra depth to my forwards with Patton and Byrnes js.

Thanks.

Nice team mate like the pod in Tambling as Brodie smith is out and Tambling will be running wild in half back flank . Nice strong midfield and forward line is strong only issue I have is with rucks I would suggest looking at replacing witts with currie from north same price and currie guaranteed to get game time. Team ranking 8/10. Can you rate my team please
