Who do you guys rate as the best pick for under 235k?
Is there more upside in a mid pricer (Varcoe or Byrnes maybe) or a rookie?
I already have Macaffer, Neade and Lee cant seen to find any other good lookin rookies...

Jukes

Varcoe- 77
Byrnes- 73
Patton- 80

Patton is my smokey, gunned in it the nab 1 and at only 180k has more cash to gain.

If you're not a gambling man however, go Varcoe.

I think Varcoe > Karnezis = Knights > Byrnes

how about crozier? not 100% sure on his js but looks close at cementing his place at freo

Currently, after seeing first round of NAB. I'd have Trav Varcoe at number one. Plenty of time for others to prove themselves.  ;)

16 from 100% TOG and 28 from 89% TOG is hardly impressive. Only week one though. Has he ever averaged over 75 though?

Windigo

Give him a break, his had one kick in over a year due to injury.

And yes, averaged 75.1 in 2010.

I see him as a good player with flair, but more of a impact player than a massive accumulator of possessions. atm he would have to do something special in pre-season for me to lock him in.

Definitely agree with you there. He's not a DTer, more of an impact player. However, he is great value at his price and should be seriously considered.

I'm more of a Guns N Rooks DTer and don't like picking too many mid-pricers, but picking him at F5 really gives my side a good balance. Still not sure though.
