I know the SC Draft is new to all of us, please see my state of play and offer suggestions

Here is my Team so far in a league of 6,

H. Shaw, H. Hartlett, ___, ___, ___,  Bench
Pendlebry, Kennedy, Cotchin, Priddis, ___, ___, Bench
Goldy, ___, Bench
Rockliff, Martin, ___, ___, ___, Bench

Round 10 not my pick for a few goes, here are the main players left in each category that I would be looking for...

Backs left - Scotland, Birchall, Enright, Duffield, Hurn, Hanley, Stanley, Adcock, M Johnson, J Grimes, S Thompson, Taylor, Rance, Dempster, Watts, Chaplin, D Pearce, R Murphy, Heppell, Suckling, Broughton, Lake, McPharlin, Mackey, McMahon, Dempsey, Atley - you get it a lot of reasonable backs left.

Mids Left - Griffen, McLean, S.Selwood, Kelly, Foley, Sewell, Shuey, Ebert. Montagna, Wells, Cross, McVeigh, Bennell, N. Jones, Grigg, Carazzo, Barlow, Greene, Simpson, Fyfe, Black, Rich, Anthony, Gaff, Boak, Steven, Masten, Mundy, Kerr - and more not high on list.

Rucks - Sandy, Jolly, Hale, Minson, Giles, Hudson, HMac, Griffin, Mumford, Bellchambers, Hille, Jamar, Hampson, Martin, Z Smith, Warnock, Jenkins, Luey ... not many other of worth.

Forwards - Bartel, Waite, S Johnson, Thomas, Lewis, N & J Riewoldt, Harvey, Petrie, Bolton, Goodes, Wright, Robinson, Blair, Bruest, De Boer, M Clark, Dalhaus, L Adams, Cloke, Sylvia, J Schulz, Mayne, Christensen, Higgins, Howe, J Brown, Merrett, Nahas. then gets a bot thin.

Other info to note: Players left to pick by the other 5 coaches excluding bench: 21 Backs left, 7 Mids left, 4 Rucks left, 16 Fowards left.

My initial strategy was to go forwards then backs (as back scoring ranges don't differ greatly) and then take what midfielders and rucks left.

Looking at forwards because with 16 left to be chosen the bottom half of that list drops off dramatically. My order of preference would be:
1.S. Johnson (has rnd 1 off,
2.Thomas (not sure if rdy),
3. Bartel (lowest score last year 70),
4. Lewis,
5. Wright,
6. Robinson,
7. N Riewoldt (rnd 1 Goldcoast),
8. Bolton (great start),
9. Harvey,
10. Bruest

Still top 10 forwards I am not confident in, I would appreciate some thoughts to the Draft I am in, and what people think of the remaining forwards. If I pick S Johnson can I move him on the bench (mid or Forward bench) when the draft is compelted. If you think picking forwards first is the best strategy...

Scotty or Stevie J. Both miss round 1 but DPP is very important in a draft.
