Also what are peoples thoughts on Brad Crouch? Is a gun but can see him with the vest on a lot of the time.

Also should i go D. Heppel or D. Pearce for D3??

good team only faults are:

DEF: dont think you should have heppell ans hibbard. Must choose one

MIDS: NO ABLETT makes it tough. And only 3 prem mids. Need 4 i think to go well

RUCKS: watch goldy through NAB wasnt impressed other night

FWDS: Maybe drop a fwd as you have 5 to upgrade elsewhere. Good choice with franklin few people not starting with him

Your defence will be missing come round 13.

Ablett? Swan? Pendles? Beams? Watson? A lot of points missing I reckon.

Macaffer should be good enough to start.

Maybe drop Martin and get a captain in your mids.

Def is a good mix with Heppel and Hibbard both could be good PODs and breakout seasons imo, but no GAJ... risky/costly

yep i think i might trade kennedy out and put ablett it. i dont wanna take dangerfield out as i think he is gonna improve his output from last year and really push the 120+ average. His style of play just really suits supercoach

also i put Hibbered in over Atley and Yarran as last year i really thought he was gonna dominate, and he did before he injured his hamstring as he was averaging around 110 before that

hibbo's first 4 weeks were as follows.
116
93
89
87

96.25 with 1 score over 100. after that he scored a 15 in his injury game and then never really strung together good games backing up every 80+ game with a sub 65 game and only had 1 game over 90 for the rest of the year and that was the very last game.

i love hibbard as an essendon supporter and thing he is a solid rebound defender but i think heppell and dempsey are both ahead of him as rebounding defenders. they are the ones that get given the ball. hibbo ussually has to win his own ball and then just kicks long out of the contest.

however i think heppell is going to play much more in the midfield so that could bring hibbard up a peg and he could find the points in defence that heppel leaves behind. i would be going with atley. they love him. my mate is a roos supporter and loves him. so quick and highly rated player within his club. then there is yarran who you also mentioned. wants to push through midfield. could get used as heath saw did under malthouse too. but goddard heppel and hibbard is alot for one defence. hope you get something out of this rant haha

I agree with you big_cox21 on Hibbard, I have him in my side at the moment (along with Godard), although there may be better choices, Im going to keep him in as a pod as I think he will do very well this year, and might get a run in the midfield also.

cheers

Backs: Hibberd may be a god pod but i think you will do just as well with Atley or Yarran
Mids: Taken a Risk here not having Ablett or Pendles in the team
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Lot of depth here but maybe needed as there are not many good fwd cash cows replace Staker with  Lee or  Neade

Overall you have taken alot of risks with this team which may hurt you when deciding a Captain that is where you are likely to lose points  give your team a 7/10

Your defence will be missing come round 13.

so?? this year its all about your top 18 scorers for that round. doesnt matter about positions or not.
just the top 18.
as long as you have a minimum 18 eligible players then its all good.
