MGK1

After playing dreamteam for the last three years and going pretty well. Top 2k last year. I've decided to have a go at Supercoach any advice would be appreciated. I have taken a few risks btw.

DEF: Goddard, Gibbs, Birchall, Newman, S.Wright, Goodes, Pittard, Terlich.
MID: Ablett, Pendlebury, Murphy, O'Keefe, Ball, Ledger, Wines, O'Meara, Crouch, Viney.
RUCK: McEvoy, Leuenberger, Rowe, Currie.
FORWARD: Cox, Rockliff, N.Riewoldt, J.Kennedy, Knights, Macaffer, Neade, Lee.

Obviously Newman and Wright are the uniques but i can see them making some cash.
O'Keefe and Ledger are mainly to take advantage of their soft draws early.
N.Riewoldt for the draw as well, J.Kennedy to make hopefully 150k+ and Knights to make some cash (don't trust Byrnes or Varcoe really).

Thanks guys!

Good Luck  with your first year at Supercoach MGK1
This is how i rate your team
Backs: Leave out Newman & Wright Replace with Yarran & Stevenson
Mids: O'keefe is a good unique pick that many won't have i would downgrade Ledger though to either Toumpas or Lonergan Murphy struggles when he is strongly tagged so may want to look at Kennedy.
Rucks: Mcevoy is a good POD.
Fwds: If you are comfortable with that forward line leave as is.

Overall 7.5/10 because of the Unique picks

quinny88

I think Newman wil be a great pick up, im considering him myself. Not sold on Wright though.
ROK a unique but dont think he will be in the top 10 mids at seasons end
NRoo I think is on the decline and there are better options around

nice side just needs minor changes IMO
8/10

Please rate my most recent team in return

not a bad start to your team.
can Newman get back to his best?? if so you'll be laughing havent seen him in a lot of teams.
smart move with starting O'Keefe, Ball, Ledger. i know they arent keepers and will make a lot of money pretty quick for some real MID premo's.
JJK will make you some quick money and knights to, i prefer Byrnes but hey its your team.

good luck.

check out my team.

Nice solid team with POD's.

Def: Newman I think will be a good pick at D4. Wright probably better off as a rookie though reasonable number to choose from just watch NAB cup.
Mids: O'Keeffe could be a solid POD for you - Not in a lot of teams.  Very Solid performance in Swans NAB cup as well.  Like Quinney just a concern will he be in top 10 mids at seasons end will JPK and Jack take points off him. Ball should make you some cash. Ledger is a little pricey would consider a rookie for him who will score as well.
Rucks: Like choice of McEvoy
Fwds: Whilst I appreciate reasons for N Roo and agree with his early draw (Last year averaged over 100 against first round opponents) think a little risky for F3.  If Cash allows maybe upgrade and use Roo at F4.

Rate Team 7.5/10 mainly due to couple of risky POD's.
