I'm unsure with Whitfield?? to many rookies in the mid??
And Growden in the forward line??

Mids, super duper strong but get a cheaper option besides whitfield imo like K Mitchell

Forwards, clearly your weakest line do you have NROO for his easy early draw? Byrnes at F4 is a really big worry, Chapman is getting past it imo better options around

need to spread your money better i think a midfield of Ablett, Swan, Boyd, Cotchin, Embley would be strong enough then you can upgrade Byrnes

I love Whitfield, and imo he will score better then Kane Mitchell. Whitfield was just running into the right places at the right time, disappointingly he wasn't kicking like his usual self but just a great smart player. He should score and play a role somewhat similar to Gaff does for the eagles, on the wing and bringing it out of defence. Everybody is scared because of his price but he is certain to avg 60, and his js seems above average. Very keen on watching GWS next game.

Enough with the love on Whitfield, you have gone with a good team structure (cash spread-wise), and I'm guessing you have no cash left. Now yes your fwd line is lacking with premiums, but if you have your trades planned well your first priority is to upgrade to a premo forward, somebody like pav, who possibly could have dropped in price come at that time.

The rookies in your midfield is absolutely fine, i believe 3 is the limit, and you have satisfied that

I don't really have any opinion on growden as of yet and any other rookies in that matter, too early to judge obviously. With more NAB we will have greater knowledge on how the season could unfold with players.

Mitchell does not have to score as much as Whitfield to make the same amount of cash

whitfield is no. 1# draft pick, he will be worth the money, i think however there may be better options out there, but this is sort of gambling.
Downgrade boyd to pendles, with the dogs going for their worst season ever i dont see him holding his scores up high, while pendles will have his best season yet, with a strong magpie midfield the lot of them will dominate.

tbh you have too many rookies. maybe go cox to goldy, chappy to zorko or bartel or robbo you preference and pick up dustin martin instead of byrnes?
and honestly, i can tell you now heppel over birchall will do you good

Thanks all for your suggestions it has really helped. I think I will get myself a bit of cash to uprgrade my forward line a bit to make it even through out the ground like a robinson or a martin.
