Decided to go with premium/rookies in midfield. My issue is going two mid pricers in defence. I could save 200k by downgrading Atley/Gwilt but what to do with it?

Yeah I reckon u've overspent in the backs. I'd get rid of Gwilt for a rookie. Also I'd swap Buddy for Cox or even Zorko for more cash. Then I would get a mid pricer (Moloney/Ball/Embley, I prefer Moloney) or fallen prem (Fyfe/Mundy) if u can't afford another straight prem for M5. And who's Lyons?

Mids way to weak IMO need at least a mid pricer at M5

Lyons is Adelaide rookie. Very impressive last weekend.

Had Ball at M5 but I think the money I will make will offset any price difference. If I upgrade a rookie in midfield, I rather it be for a premium rather than just a mid pricer. So another 400k needed!

Backs: I don't recommend you pick Gwilt although he is a unique cant see him scoring enough better off with someone who is cheaper such as Tambling or a cheaper cash cow
Mids: Love the Pick of Toumpas the kid will be a star even though he is not cheap he is worth it
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Stevie J & Staker won't play round 1 so look for 2 other fwds
