GC will wean their dependence on him off this season to allow Swallow, Bennell etc all their young mids to progress to league-beaters, so GAJ will get less possessions. Add to that his injuries in the pre-season probably won't average 115+.

Captain Gary Ablett has been hampered by back and calf problems but is training and will see some pre-season action

will still spend 3/4qtrs in the middle and be feeding swallow, bennell. when not in the middle, will be moved to FF where he can outmark most and crumb a few goals. points he loses in the mids, if any, he will make up for with more goals. when isnt ablett injured? you will have him soon enough im sure
