Dreamteam schmeamteam.  ::)

This team looks pretty good but I think a little tweaking could help.

I like Hanley and even Suban in defence as they seem earmarked to play a bit in the mids too.
Is Vlastuin worth the extra $$?

Great mids - Obviously Swan, JPK, Danger, Cotchin and Beams are yet to come. I think Murphy is cheap to start with and Selwood is very consistent. I think I'd be on Cotchin before Deledio, and Fyfe, Priddis, Jack for that matter.

Embley seems a good mid pricer (cf Ball and even Moloney as he will score similar but for less outlay)

Rucks OK.

Not sure about Robbo in SC. Bit of a mad dog ball butcherer who gives away free kicks at times. Prefer others.

Forwards are weaker but that's what you get when the other 3 lines are strong.

Seems the 5 gun mid teams compromise either fwd or back and the rookies needed are weaker than those available in mids.

Good luck.

Aaron its good to see you are having a go at Supercoach this year you should enjoy the ride make sure you don't your trades and this year we have the Rolling Lockout which will helps us so we don't get stuck with a Sub on the field
Def: If you like Suban go with him as you need unique picks to have a Chance of Winning just watch where he is Played in the Nab Cup. Hanley is a great pick also as he may play more midfield this year
Mids: Prefer Cotchin than Deledio but as a Unique he could be a good pick. Embley could average 75+ this year
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Mitch can be up and down I think either of Martin or Wright

Overall Good balanced team with some unque picks which you need to win give this team an 8/10

Thanks for the feedback guys :)
pretty sold on Hanley and Suban. Hanley has improved each year and i can see him running through the mid a fair bit more. Same goes for Suban i think he could take broughton's role off HB and play up on the wing, will monitor both over the NAB to see how they shape up but both could be a good POD.
Vlastuin i think is well worth the extra $$. Played pretty well in tonight's game's and hardwick loves him so should be in the 22.
Mids are abit weak even with the 5 premo's might look at switching afew players around
As for Robbo was abit iffy selecting him but not 100% sold on wright or martin who else would you suggest?

thanks once again :)

I have liked Suban the last few years, it is just injuries have let him down and not allowed him to be consistent. A gutsy pick but could pay off

Hanley was underrated last year. Had a really good patch and if he can add some consistency should be a premium. I would look at switching Terlich out. He seems to butcher the ball quite a bit, just sort of watch the NAB games before you settle on the rookies.

If you want to try and free up some cash, maybe go Deledio to Jack. Jack is cheaper and had an awesome end to the season, he was in the 122 range, so if he can keep it up or build on it you get a superstar there.

The ruck rookies are also likely to change, but maybe Daw over Witts. He looked impressive tonight, could be a decent cash cow if he gets the start round 1.

Robbo is not a bad pick, just depends where he plays. He is a hard nut and wins a lot of contested ball and tackles, but with the way he throws his body around, he is likely to miss games. Also not a fan of Tomahawk in SC since he is a FF. I would also try and get a mid pricer into the forwards since I would be worried with all those rookies

Way too thin in the back end. I would look at turning Vlastuin into Russell at least. He is cheaper then what Suban was, but you need one more guy who has proven they can do it at AFL level.

ok thanks for the advise. I will have abit of a re-shuffle and see what i can come up with

The slightly lean defence doesn't worry me.

Apart from the top 4 or 5 defenders, they don't score > 100 ppg. If you are starting 3 top defenders then you won't lose. As much as if you were starting only 3 forwards since Buddy, Cox, Pav, Rocky, Tex can all go big.

As usual, it seems one line has to be a fair bit weaker at the start than the other 3. This year it is the defence that starts weak.

A lot have skimped in rucks with The Goldberger, but Maric is better.

If Vlastuin scores 70 - 80 then he's fine.

Chappy is going to go so red in the face that he'll burst after losing in round 1, you'll have to trade him out!

Death to the Kennett curse.
