You can just trade if either of them spud it :P I'm confident both will succeed, only have Leuey though.
Yeah that's the plan, have cox in the forwards as a bit of insurence aswell

I'd go another rook in the mid rather than Ball or Andre Wembley and use the $ to upgrade to Swan/Boyd/Cotchin. Rockcliff Martin Robbo Byrnes n Varcoe were all very inconsistent players last year, having them all in the same forward line might get you some big scores but prob not in the same week. I'd put a couple of starting rooks n get Buddy or Bartel or similar in there, a 90 odd score every week. Rucks look v weak in that last draft I must say.

Pushed clear and remade the team. Liking the look of this one

Backs:
Goddard, Stanley, Gibbs, Hanley, Atley, Goodes (Stevenson, Terlich)

Mids:
Ablett, Pendlebury, Deledio, Murphy, Caddy, Embley, Wines, Omeara (Viney, Jones)

Rucks:
Goldstein, Luenburger (Grundy, Currie)

Fowards:
Rockliff, Robinson, Martin, Sylvia, Byrnes, Macaffer (Staker, Lee)

$9 400 left in the bank. Few unique selections but i reclon all of them have an upside

Grannyboy

I'd go Ball over Caddy any day, similar price tag with a huge difference in avg if you look at Ball's last 3 seasons.

Caddy I reckon could up it quite a bit this year. Ball probably is the safer bet but trying to go a little unique with caddy/atley and co.

I am a bit worried about Luenburger. He seems like the best pick at that price range but I have a bad feeling he won't be able to pull through with enough points every week. Although it's hard to pick a second ruck that is cheap and going to score for you, there might be better options?

He'd have to go to a 90+ avg to stay in a fully upgraded midfield and even then maybe only just on your bench, Ball should be 95+ if he's fit.

Stefan Martin is capable of an 80+ avg and may do ok if Berger doesn't and he's also a dpp. He should play a bit and you could get cox or someone in the forwards for cover.

That's the way, Tuzza, the Bolters league needs a few bolting teams like this, way to take advantage of the 44 trades mate ;D

I will say though get Gibbs in there

Haha cheers tbag. Gotta be a little unique to have a chance. And btw I do have Gibbs  :P

Few tweaks, team looks a lot safer and solid now imo

Mids:
Swan, Cotchin, Pendlebury, Murphy, Embley, Wines, Mitchell, Omeara (Viney, Jones)

Rucks:
Sandilands, Luenburger (Gorringe, Currie)

Forwards:
Pavlich, Rockliff, Robinson, Sylvia, Harper, Byrnes (Macaffer, Staker)

Maybe get a dpp or 2 in the mids to help with the early season shuffling n help cover against the dreaded doughnut.

Here is the team as it stands before NAB
$17 600 left

Backs:
Goddard, Grimes, Gibbs, Lake, Pittard, Goodes (Docherty, Terlich)

Mids:
Swan, Ablett, Pendlebury, Stanton, Embley, Wines, Mitchell, Omeara (Crouch, Viney)

Rucks:
Sandilands, Luenburger (Witts, Currie)

Forwards:
Johnson, Rockliff, Martin, Sylvia, Harper, Byrnes (Macaffer, Neade)

Thoughts? Think Swallow could turn it on this year. Harper is priced at 49 but his non sub average was 58 last year, reckon he could go 70-75 this year especially with no Harvey

turry17

Settled on this now before round 1. Rookies subject to change

Backs:
Goddard, Stanley, Gibbs, Russell, Pittard, Goodes (Docherty, Terlich)

Mids:
Swan, Boyd, Watson, Pendlebury, D.Swallow, Wines, Mitchell, Omeara (Crouch, Viney)

Rucks:
Roughhead, Luenburger (Witts, Daw)

Fowards:
Cox, Rockliff, Robinson, Sylvia, Harper, Byrnes (Macaffer, Lee)

$40 300 left in the bank. Unique enough but enough proven premos there to balance it imo
Thoughts?

turry17

Just gone crouch - lonergan. Read he is in for early games and less of a sub risk imo
