Hi guys,

Its my second season in SC and Im looking at smashing it up again after finishing 1st in all of my leagues last year ;D , heres my first crack at 2013:

Backs: Goddard, Shaw, Gibbs, Birchall, B.Goodes, Pittard (Docherty, Terlich)

Mids: Gaz, Pendles, JPK, Cotchin, Wines, Crouch, O'meara, Viney (K.Mitchell, M.Jones)

Rucks: Maric, Leuenberger (Rowe, Currie)

Forwards: Franklin, Cox, Pavlich, Roughead, Macaffer, Lee (Staker, Neade)

Def: Strong maybe you could downgrade one of your premiums to a Yarran or Atley or even a Stevenson
Mids: If you think you can get away with 4 Premiums and 4 Cash Cows on this field the Go with it you could have a medium player at M5 Such as Ball or  Moloney
Rucks: Good POD in Maric as most teams i have see have picked Goldstein
Fwds: Reports are that Pavlich is Looking Great and will play isn the last NAB cup game so maybe just replace Staker with Mayes or another cash cow.


Overall Well Balanced team on each Line i rate this team highly as it will be hard to beat. 9/10

Absolute ripsnorter of a team.

If your rookies go well then 9.5/10.

Top 4 'available and fit' defenders

Top shelf 4 mid guns

Interesting Maric and good value Leue with DPP into

Cox AND Buddy with Pav and Roughy.

Only thing I can add is Staker won't play early.

Pav might be underdone.

Best 4 mid team I have seen.

The challenge - make it a 5 mid team without losing strength elsewhere.  ;)

Cheers for the feedback!! I have a sneaky feeling ball will take a while to get going after being out for so long and wines is already showing great ability, Im hoping wines will fit right into the port team and pump out a good average straight up! If he doesnt I can always fall back on Mitchell who also had a great start to the NAB cup!

Finding a replacement for Staker isnt so easy as I dont think Mayes or Kerridge will get a game rd 1.  Any other suggestions??? At least I can keep Staker on the bench till his right to go!

I like the idea of Byrnes if he gets selected.

You could drop one of your mids / def a bit - eg Birchall to Heppel or Cotchin to Murphy

Or Maric to McEvoy / Jacobs.

This lack of fwd rookies is why I have gone a bit softly softly in defence.

Cheers for the feedback!  I have every managed to pump out some incredible scores!! Lock for me!

Your right it seems Staker wont be ready for rd1 but he is a steal and that price and I think he is a better bench option than a waste of a trade come rd 2 or 3.  Once on the field should be a great cash cow!
