Iffy on the Heppell pick but though he could break out given his nab cup so far, embley a steal at 293, Goddard??? Big unknown... Get some price ncreases and let natta get into season with lack of preseason and will trade up leuenberger for natta

Like it except a bit weak forward.

Love the idea of Leue trading up, but for me NicNat will be coming into forwards to help Buddy, his buddy Cox, Tex and Rocky.

Jacobs / McEvoy to dominate my rucks until Leue turns into Sandi.

I feel H Shaw needs to do more as his frustrating ways have pushed me too far to start with him. I doubt he will increase a great deal in price and he may even drop, which helps my decision to wait on him and use the extra $ on a secret D4!!

Gorringe should be good too.

JJK - maybe but preer other mid priced fwds.

Good luck.

From what I've seen this team looks average. I don't think you'll have much to worry bout with Heppell, Shaw is more of a concern. Kennedy is a risk but could pay off (I really hope he does). And Staker is out for a while.
I'd made a few changes to strengthen your team but if you we're top 3% then maybe I should take a leaf from you book instead. Then again you have picked Wait, so- I won't!

Is anybody taking into consideration the byes when doing their side?

I like the team Daneseagles but my only concern is you have 4 prems in Defense who have a Round 13 Bye.
Gibbs and Goddard in my opinion are the two from Round 13 who should be in your side

Look at others like Enright, Birchall, Waters, Hanley etc who have round 11 and 12 byes. Prems are your keepers so try and avoid trading them out and then back in when the byes are upon us

Byes are relevant but only number 5 on my priority list.

1 The right premium
2 The right rookie
3 The right mids
4 The right DPP
5 The right bye

Mainly because after meticulous planning last year it all went to shower with injuries, form etc AND this year with a different scoring for those 3 dreaded weeks, it isn't quite as critical AND extra trades will help if you get stuck.

Do you look at games played per year also

The defence line is a good example.

Question? If you have a player who averages 100 but they have consistently played 15 games every year for the last 3 years but they are injury prone against another player who averages 92 - 95 but has played 22 games every year for the last 3 years, who would you pick?

i'd probably look to turn heppel into a rookie and use the cash to bolster the fwds.

A few changes. Althought I thought Heppell had ball on a string nab cup 1 pulled him for bock, pulled Waite then to buddy, and yeah I've had enough of shaw as well so pulled him for birchal, upgraded benches from Staker to J stringer (wbd) and put in Mayes in centre bench....

Revised team take 2:

B: Goddard, Gibbs, birchall, Bock, Docherty, l Stevenson, (pittard, terlich)
M:GAJ, pendles, cotch, Sselwood, embley, Wines, omeara, Crouch, (Mayes, viney)
R: Jacobs, leunberger, (Gorringe, Rowe)
F: Franklin, cox, Walker, Rockliff, Kennedy (wce), Maccaffer, (Stringer, lee)

A lot of growth$$ in this I think you can get enough mid/fwds to upgrade thoughout year so I believe nic nat is ur man to upgrade luenbergs. I disagree he should go forward with new ruck rule he will dominate, will watch the Tippett space, and beau waters will go up and down possibly pull him towards end of season when his contested ball stats rise. I will pull josh Kennedy from west coast and embley as well as soon as I believe they have reached there highest price...

Def: Shouldn't have Bock in your team as he won't play in Round1 Heppell is a good replacement
Mids: Have not seen Scott Selwood in alot of teams could be a Good POD averaged 104 in 2012
Rucks: Jacobs is also a great Pick
Fwds: Can't fault that fwd line although Buddy may start slowly

Overall your updated is better balanced give it an 8/10

I thought bock was on track for round 1... source???  :-\ to be honest I only really wanna change my neckline slightly as I'm happy everywhere else.. Maybe find a way to get brought on but then he is as dear as Heppell almost and Heppell will score higher... The question I'd like to know is Brendan Goddard on the way down and is he really the lock he has always been???
