Good backs - watch Van U for JS.

Mids - fine. Only thing I would do I try and start 2 of GAJ, Swan and Pendles. You can afford it.

Rucks - fine but with a dearth of good Fwds and a glut of Rucks, why not start Cox fwd?

Fwds - add Cox and it will look a lot better.

If you really think Ryder can improve or even maintain, then maybe leave him and get say Jacobs or McEvoy in rucks if you can afford.

8/10 if you spend up and improve your forward line.

I have a mad Essedon friend who doubts van Unen will get a lot of games.

I am not sure who his likely 6 backs are but maybe some from this lot will be selected ahead of him - Fletcher, Pears, Dempsey, Hardingham, Hibberd, Hooker, Myerse and then who knows where Goddard and Heppell will play.

Just watch and see what he does in the NBA and obviously round 1 teams.

PS I don't like Essedon or Essendon for that matter.
