voted the second, but i'm sure there are ways of wrangling that you could get the best of both worlds

colmullet

yeah second option leaves me with 50K more in the pocket aswell, but really can't see where to use it

SydneyRox

2nd option, besides Tambling looks the best to me. I would use the $50k to get him upgraded

who represents better value than Tambling within 50K? hes only priced at around 220K

I went option 1 (mainly anti-Tambling) - was almost on 'much of a muchness' though - surprised it hasn't received a vote as yet.

SydneyRox

I would prefer Otten, if you could get to Suban, but you are right there arent many. So maybe go down instead.....

colmullet

i could get Yarren back by taking Buddy -> Roughy and Wright -> Christensen then upgrade Tambling back to Wright but i feel like thats giving up a fair bit up forward to make that change down back

You would have to go Jordan Russell before Tambling wouldn't you. Given the no 2 jumper at Collingwood, means nothing but better than the no 57 jumper. Played well Friday night also.

Yeah I guess Russell is less risky than Tambling. Russell is in the Magpies best 22 ATM, while I'm not sure Tambling is as yet. If Tambling continues his form from the NAB Cup then I'd consider him.
And I vote for option 2, you get a top of the range premium in Cotchin and McEvoy and Wright are great unique selections

colmullet

yeah i guess Russel would be a decent pick aswell, at least he gives me another avenue to keep all 3 other lines the same if Tambling doesn't crack the 22
