we know syd have a pretty soft start to the year, does he rack up big scores v weaker teams or is he a more contested scoring player, or is it neither way?

i think he's v likely to be a top 8 mid this year so it's a question of whether to start him or pick him up later.

also, where are you guys going for your scoring archive info?

thanks

Last year was definitely his breakout year ave 120.2 for the season proper. prior to that his best season was 96.1 in 2011 from 22 matches. Last year he ave 28.3 disposals in 25 matches (including finals), in which he kicked goals in 20 of the 25 matches as a nice little kicker to his already great scores.

Footywire is a great site for any AFL stat inquiries  :D

He will get contested possessions against anyone.
Don't under estimate GWS they will be highly competitive early.
Footywire good for stats.

Regarding player info go to the player link at the top of this page, follow your nose to an individual player and scroll to the bottom, look for fantasy career stats. Click the year and you will see a break down of their scores over the year.

At the top of their individual page you can see their career stats against each opponent, and at each ground. You can use the search function on the right hand side to look up past players too. Below is the year Tony Lockett kicked 118 goals from 17 games!

thanks mate.

plugger would've killed SC especially that year with those impacts!

Absolutely. Some massive scores as there is every chance he would have kicked the match winning goals that champion data love.
