Team for 2013

Been studying a lot this preseason and have came up with this team at the moment.

DEF- Gibbs, Duffield, Grimes, L.Osborne, J.Pittard, S.Dochery ( D.Terlich, S.Colquhoun)
MID- Abletts, Pendleury, J.Selwood, Deledio, Cotchin, Fyfe, J.Lonergan, J.Viney ( J.O'Meara, B.Crouch)
RUCK- Jacobs, Leuenberger ( D.Currie, J.Ceglar)
FORW- Cox, Rockliff, S.Johnson, D.Martin, B.Staker, B. Macaffer ( S.Kerridge, T.Lee)

Going for a 3 premo Def as i like to jump on them because there so up and down.
What you guys think?

Very Solid team

Only thought I had was if settling on a 3 prem defence Goddard and Gibbs should be 1 & 2.
Like the choice of Jacobs as well.
Would possibly get a R/F rookie as insurance for Berger.  It has been stated that Berger will be on a manged program this year, so rather than waste trade if he is out for a week or 2 have the insurance of Cox.
Apart from that comment no other concerns,

yeah Goddard+Gibbs must haves in a 3 man defense

think you have to many mid premos and not enough forward premos

Nice team and Deledio makes a pretty good POD. Does seem to be a big hole where Goddard should be down back, but otherwise not bad. How much cash have you got left ?? Starting with a 6 prem mid may be limiting your money making capabilities, but it may also turn out to be the way to go. Cheers.

I understand your concern about up and down defenders but picking the consistent ones makes sense and Duffy isnt that.  Trade him for goddard.
6 premo mids looks great but i think u should downgrade one to bolster another line. 2-3 rookie defenders is a touch risky.  The rest looks great.

FOR- Cox, Rockliff, S.Johnson, Martin, Varcoe, Macaffer (Kerridge, Neade)
Only 7,100 left over.

i dont like martin this year, but that's person preference. nice job.

edit: you want to have a dpp R4 option to the fwds for cox.

Very strong team - Think Gawn is injured so replace with Rowe, McBean or Sinclair to give you the flexibility of Cox with DPP.
