i know injury prone... but impressive.. thinking downgrading birchall to dempsey.. then upgrade fyfe to any mid.. thoughts?
Def would be godd, gibbs, duff, dempsey, then rookies? thoughts?

cortez

could be a good pck up but risky and all the more risky because we dont know what is going to happen with Essendon this season

very true, obviously if essendon fall apart due to all the issues then i wont.. but fyfe up to dangerfield/cotchin/swan is also interesting

I would rather have Birchall than Dempsey, and Fyfe because he'll save a bit of cash. You're more likely to get consistency out of Birchall as well.

What about Hibberd? Looked to use the ball a lot better then Dempsey which is a plus

pikla

No way I'd touch Dempsey. When his hammy goes TWAAANG in rnd 3 you'll thank me

fever

yeah i'd just not overthink it and stay away

Yes, Mat, I was impressed with Hibberd's game as well.  He may take a big step forward this year, along with Heppell.

Hagebear

Yeh not for me. Does this every preseason, looks the goods then dies in the ass.

Dempsey, HIbberd and Heppell all looked very promising.
Dempsey looked superb in both games, looked really composed and plenty of dash about him. Plays a very sc friendly role as well off half back.
HIbberd takes a nice intercept mark and often plays loose. Nice kick on him. Would b a really gutsy pick but could pay off.
Heppell was only running thru the mids and is definedly the safer of these options.
I'm gonna risk one breakout/ mid price spot at D4. At the moment it's Yarran but could well b one of these.

thanks guys a lot to think about
