Rookies not cemented yet, will wait until NAB and Round 1 teams. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Backs: Very strong....perhaps to strong?

Mids: Looks strong but only one top line premium in Abeltt and then 4 guys your hoping will break into that top bracket is a big gamble....not sure all will get there which will leave you with either using a lot of trades to get the top guys or a less than impressive midfield versus others come the back end of the season

Rucks: all good

Fwds: Looks decent so long as your rookies all get a start, forward rookies seem to be a little thin this year

Yeah, I was thinking I've gone one premium too many in the backs.

As for mids, Priddis I trust to knock out 110 week in week out, just like previous years. Redden I'm not sure about, he could change into a Pendlebury if I downgrade a back premo into a rookie. Fyfe and Mundy are both underpriced and I believe will have amazing years, especially Mundy if he can stay injury free.

And my startng rookies will basically be who gets named in round 1 that should have decent JS.

Backs: too strong here i would downgrade either Hartlett or Grimes as i believe you should start 2 cash cows in the backs
Mids: Maybe keep priddis but i would upgrading the others to true premiums e.g Watson,J.Selwood & A Swallow & Downgrade Embley to Wines
Rucks: Standard
Fwds: Seems ok prefer Cox instead of Stevie J also Stringer instead of Paparone

Overall You have a strong team there
Which can be improved by having 5 premium as at the Moment Fyfe and Mundy aren't there yet i give team an 7.5/10

Looks much better to me i think, just hope you can find 2 forward rookies who will play regularly, might be a bit of a challenge but we will see come round 1

Thanks man, and yeah fwd rookies are hard to come by so far.
What are your thoughts on Duffield in defence compared to the other prems I currently have? Or Broughton for that matter.

For mine Duffield is about on par with Grimes, Broughton could be but it depends on his role and i wonder if Gold Coast are being belted if he would have to become more accountable to an opponent rather than rebounding off half back

I would just keep the best 3 defenders plus Yarran, (Birchill to Duffield maybe Ok)

Only changes I would make.

So basically Grimes + Paparone VS Yarran + Byrnes VS Grimes + Byrnes
