I see him in a lot of teams, and cannot workout why, what's so good about him, is there something I have missed

First round draft pick from 2009 been plagued by injuries so far, so much so he's a rookie price now,

Well he will probably take Jacobs spot at half back, this guy can play! As long as he actually gets fit, so far so good for 2013, he is far, far better value than any rookie as he will be in the best 22 all year if fit! Also he's a rebounding defender ;)

He's in nearly every best 22 for Port that I've seen. Stevenson and Heath have also been named as possible selections.

He has JS in spades. For me, that is worth $30k.  ;)

Not often you'll spend 130k and be assured of a 22 game player if he can remain healthy.

Almost rookie priced, and will play 22 games barring injury. Has to be a lock.

tbag's got it all covered here. Got everything going for him, really no reason not to pick him in my opinion.

Okay even if Jasper was 150-200k id still probs lock him in

For starters he was a high draft pick and has an incredible football brain that through the interviews at draft camp he was already being looked at as a future coach

This great football brain is mainly the reason why jasper is a lock in ports best 22. He plays the Back Pocket/Halfback role running the ball out of defence. In his first season he was given kick in duties.

This preseason Jasper has added a few kgs to his slim nathan fyfe like frame which will help with defensive pressure and contested possesions. Means more tackles andslight increase in overall disposals.

He is highly rated at Port and i saw an online survey the other day of who will be the biggest improver for port in 2013 and he was leading the results...against guys like Butcher, Hartlett, Broadbent, Lobbe.

Predicted average would be between 60 and 75 but at 130k with great js he has to be a lock. There are quite a few def options this year like Vlastuin, Doecherty, Stevenson, Heath, Colquhan but only really Pittard and Terlich have any decent JS
