Hey Fellas

In my last couple of posts i have received great advice., which is why I'm posting again. I reckon my current team is well set out, I've got a lot of DPP and some good PODs in Fyfe, Wright and Broughton. But these are only my thoughts, so I'm wondering what you guys think. Any advice will be greatly appreciated and if possible a rate would be mint.

Cheers,

Team Name: Jaegarbomb

MID: G. Ablett, D. Swan, J. Kennedy, P. Dangerfield, N. Fyfe, T. Menzel (Fwd), K. Mitchell, J. O'Meara (B. Crouch, S. Colquhoun (Def))
RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger, (B. Grundy, S. Rowe (Fwd))
FWD: D. Cox (Ruc), T. Rockliff (Mid), S. Johnson, M. Wright, J. Daniher, B. Staker (Def), (B. Macaffer, T.Lee)

Joe Daniher won't play as much as people think, Troy Menzal has also had a limited preseason due to hip injury, best look elsewhere with those two pal, other then that spot on! Good luck!
Would you mind giving mine a rate?

AndreDrummond

That's a fair call, if Menzal lines up round one lock him in. Very talented prospect and I believe mick will work wonders with him!

My Chumps

A good team here man! Despite the worries brought up by Andre ^, it looks good.

I really like Birchill, Dangerfield and Fyfe (although he's becoming quite popular) as interesting picks. Haven't seen them in a lot of teams despite that they're proven scorers, Birchill inparticular. And Danger could definietly up his average even further next year (just ask Tbag).

Starting Swanny is an interesting one. I always see him as a late starter, often pumping out his best scores in the latter half of the season (perhaps getting match fit after putting in a half-arsed effort preseason, I dunno :P), so I personally would rather start with Pendlebury or Beams... It is your call in the end however.

Not a massive fan of Wright up forward, would rather Christo, Dusty, Chappy etc, but can see how you would justify that selection. The rest looks nice.

All up, good team! Good luck for 2013.

Cheers mate

i just recently read an article stating that Swan was having his best pre-season yet which is why i have gone him over Beams and Pendlebury, so hopefully Swan can pump out big scores early.

I have been tossing up between Wright, Dusty and Breust I'm still not sure, i feel all of them could have big years. Hopefully they all play in the Nab cup so i can analyse there form.

My Chumps

Yep, fair call on that one!

Most of what we're doing will change as we get closer to the season/after NAB cup.

Is this a better team?

Remaining Salary: $23,500

DEF: B. Goddard (Mid), B. Gibbs (Mid), G. Birchall, G. Broughton (Fwd), J. Pittard, J. Thurlow (D, Van Unen, D. Terlich)
MID: G. Ablett, D. Swan, J. Kennedy, P. Dangerfield, N. Fyfe, T. Menzel (Fwd), K. Mitchell, J. O'Meara (B. Crouch, S. Colquhoun (Def))
RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger, (B. Grundy, S. Rowe (Fwd))
FWD: D. Cox (Ruc), M. Pavlich, T. Rockliff (Mid), L. Breust, B. Staker (Def), B. Macaffer (J. Simpson, J. Neade)

Only the forward line has changed but I'm keen to know which is a better team.

My Chumps

Better, but still an issue; Pavlich has had a very limited preseason after (I think multiple) surgery/ies. Add that to the age factor and I can see Pav dropping off a bit this season, especially early on.

Hmoore96

I do have the money to do a direct swap with Pav > Buddy but i would have almost $0 remaining.
Is that worth it?

My Chumps

Hell yeah that's worth it.

Would give you a super strong forward line after it started off as your worst line.
