Which 2 should I take? Assuming bock is ready for rd 1

Not a fan of Bock or Yarran, Bock of the two. Bit of a roller coaster with both, but if Bock gets back to previous form he will be more consistent and probably score better.

Leaning towards Heppell for number 2. Both great options but at this stage fairly similar yet Heppell likely to go to another level this year.

Good luck with it mate.

Bock and Gibbs for me.

Gibbs is a lock for me, given Mick wants him to prove himself as a midfielder (likely more points), hence should be one of the top few averaging defenders.

Lot of hate going around for Bock, if he makes round 1 then i'll likely swing him in. Has proved what he can do in the right role in defence. Also from what i have seen of him as a forward, he has performed valiantly there too.

Yarren and Gibbs

i think both will do well under Malthouse

Yep, under Rats I wouldn't have touched Gibbs and locked in Heppell but the new coach factor has me thinking the same, that he will FINALLY push into the midfield

Bock over Yarren, Bock could spend all year getting the ball in the backline which should be heavily invaided, Yarren has to prove consistancy before I go there

Gibbs a no brainer but, Gibbs at D2 for me and Heppell to be strongly considered for a starting D3-4, third year and already playing good footy Hep set to rise

I"ve got Yarran. Bock may be a little rusty even if playing rd 1 so I'll wait and see. if he starts killing it and Yazza is no good then I could pretty much straight swap or even make cash. No doubt Bock can score well though, and is a great bargain.

Got Gibbs too. Definetly over Heppell. Can't see him playing too many negating roles under Malthouse and he just really had an off year as well last season.

I had Heppell last season and he just gave me grief. Improved as a player but not as a SC scorer. Got plenty of the ball, but too much uncontested and just couldn't break 85 ish avg. Yes he"llgo through the middle but he did that last year. even tagged people quite a few times. He'd have to really break out to score well enough. He could, has the talent and probably will if I don't pick him but not over Gibbs.

I'm thinking Grimes over Heppell for D3.

Considered Duffield mate?
Gotta have Gibbs too

The club’s biggest concern is the continued absence of vice-captain Nathan Bock from full training.

Bock, who missed the majority of last season with a broken leg, is still limping and looks to be extremely doubtful to be fit for the start of the premiership competition

If Yarran is used correctly (running half/wing) he will have a big season so I would go with him if he looks good in the nab cup.
Gibbs easily over Heppell

For those that may be interested in Bock here is a media report from yesterdays paper.

http://www.goldcoast.com.au/article/2013/02/08/446944_gold-coast-afl.html

"GOLD Coast defender Nathan Bock is still dogged by pain from his broken leg and will miss the opening rounds of the premiership season.

The Suns have already ruled the vice-captain out of round 1 and they cannot say when he will be fit for action."

I had Bock last year till he got injured and imo he was a good pick, definitely on my list of players I would like in my team by the end of the season injury and form permitting, but not in line to start in my team too many question marks over his leg

The man I am interested in is Jarrod Harbrow, huge smokey who is exciting to watch
