Trying hard with DPP, could be a good strategy for some (I'm not bothering with dpp at all- got 44 trades to mess around with)
Strong midfield as it stands
Rucks are weak. I'm hearing Cox will only play 1 NAB cup game at best-case scenario. I'd switch Cox with Jenkins and sideways to someone like Maric, Sandilands, or down to Goldy or McIntosh and gain some more money.
For those two spots left in defence, I think it'd be smart to swap Gibbs/Hartlett into one of them and fill the other spot with a rookie, leaving you with 300k for a midfield spot. Get Embers with this.
Clokey is a great pick.
Not a fan at all of GAJ.

Get Hartlett out of your mids; DPP really isn't that useful ( I generally only use it for moving rookies for bench cover)
If you want downgrade Embley to a rookie (say K. Mitchell) then upgrade Hartlett to a mid premium
Good on you for getting Bellchambers; I think he will break out this year.
I'd stay away from Tex for the first few rounds to see how he copes without Tippet; if Tippet was there I would be seriously considering him too though.
I'd downgrade Patton to someone like like Mayes then try and turn Cloke into a premium (maybe Martin? but prefferably you want Rockliff)

i wouldnt start with both ablett and swan, id get rid of swan for pendles then use some of that cash to upgrade hurley/cloke/walker to rockcliff/martin or similar

I like to have the swan/ablett combo, i moved hartlett to back and swapped broughton for heppell, also gonna see how cloke goes in nab cup, Could downgrade cox to a cheaper F/R or upgrade.  :-\

I dont see the appeal of Hurley though and you have a fair bit of cash sitting on your fwd bench but they should both get plenty of games so it doesn't really bother me.
and personally k. Mitchell over menzel at this stage

i think it is a unique move with hurly i will see how he goes in the nab, reports says he looks better and fitter than last year.

also what do you guys think of membrey, thinking of swaping him for patton. upgrading menzel to koby stevens or upgrading staker to knights and downgrading menzel to crouch.

dont know much about Membrey but Lee and Neade seem like options at the moment, just wait a few weeks and see which rookie puts his hand up.
I am a big fan of Koby and of Knights so doing either I would be fine with but personally I do no muck around with mid pricers in the midfield. Strictly guns and rookies there for me.
