HISTORY:

2003 - 2006   Originally from Thorpdale, Victoria, he was drafted in the first round of the 2002 AFL Draft from the Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup. He struggled with injuries in his initial years, playing only 30 games in his first four seasons in the AFL

2007    Played 17 games in 2007 missing two with a hamstring injury. Won the Bombers most improved player in 2007 . Can play midfield and defence and was a handy utility.

2008   In June 2008, after playing 26 games in a season and a half, he underwent back surgery to repair a prolapsed disc, missing the remainder of the year.

2009    He returned in 2009 to have his best season to date, earning 10 Brownlow Medal votes to be the equal leader for Essendon and finishing fifth in the club's best and fairest award.

2010   Enjoying one of the most injury-free seasons of his career Winderlich was rewarded with a top 3 placing in the best and fairest. Had spectacular moments throughout the season, highlighted by two dominant performances against Hawthorn. Lightning quick and precise by foot.

2011    In Round 4, 2011 Winderlich suffered a serious ACL injury which ended his season

2012     Struggled to return after the knee injury and soft tissue injuries managed only 2 games

VERDICT: Has to be one of the most injury prone players in the AFL, cant see much changing in 2013

PREDICTION: Knee strain followed by a back strain and hamstring 3.5 games at an average of 57.5

No worries mate .. Window licker is just too risky at 272k imo

ronl

He really deserves a clear run with no injuries for awhile, but, no, I really couldn't be so reckless.

jabroni

It's because VS' pricing system needs some work. It currently stands as this:

Step 1: Take a long hit from group bong.
Step 2: Casually mention how wasted you are and how this year in the office is just like last year. Laugh hysterically.
Step 3: Attach random prices to a dartboard.
Step 4: Lay under edge of table as workmate thumbs the tap and pours cask wine into your mouth.
Step 5: (if not passed out on floor) Throw dart at dartboard. Assign price to player X.

Adamant

A massive no to Winder lick my balls.

Extremely injury prone and not sure if the scoring potential is still there...

Quality post.

Ziplock

pretty much nailed it. Some of the pricing are just ridiculous.

Mr.Craig

He looked pretty good against the Crows...until the inevitable.
