Hi All,

First team post. will of course change but happy to hear your thoughts. Bit worried not enough uniques but hope that the core is there to compete early with the leaders then build an awesome team.

Goddard Gibbs Birchal Heppell Newman Vlastuin / Pittard Terlich

Ablett Swan Pendles Kenneddy Wines K.Mitchell O'Meara Lonergan / B.Crouch Viney

Goldy Burger / Rowe Currie

Franklin Cox Rocky Varcoe Byrnes Mcaffer / Lee Paparone

Thoughts??

Solid team to work worth,

Rookies will sort themselves out over the next 2 weeks.

Def: Concerned with effect of Goddard on Heppell and having both may be a risk. Newman will be a POD if he gets back to form.  Watch Vlastin as he is a bit expensive for a rookie who will be vest candidate.
Mids: No issues
Rucks Standard
Fwds: Little weak here with Varcoe at F4. Prefer at F5m

Rate Team 7.5/10

4 prem mid is my only concern, with Wines as M5 you are potentially giving up big points for at least 3 rounds.

FactHunt

I agree with the other comments so far, I reckon that there is capacity in the DEF to go rookie/rookie price player on one of Heppell/Newman and upgrade preferably a MID, but could upgrade a FWD depending on whether Paparone and/or Lee are getting games. (reckon that Heppell and Newman have upside, but neither will be top six backs- could eat my words there  :o)
Reckon this will improve ya scoring potential (especially MID), or provide you with security up front.

Feel that the MID mid-pricers in Moloney, Ball and Embley offer as good scoring potential at less penalty to the wallet.
