Got some unique options with Siposs (potential to replace goddard) and also patty karnezis (has some brillient NEAFL stats playing in the midfeild) both 3rd year breakout contenders. Went pretty light with defence premos obviously so many great defence rookies. Fyfey is a brownlow metal contender as my other 3 premo mids. Moloney going to kill it with the lions. Rucks standard set. Pav defently got a chance to go for the coleman and score big each week.

Thats my justifcation of my team. But the real question is what do you think of it?
Cheers.

Goddard, Gibbs, Hanley, Broughton, Thurlow, Stevenson
(Docherty, Terlich)

Swan, Cotchin, Murphy, Fyfe, Moloney, Toumpas, Wines, O'Meara
(Viney, Mitchell)

Sandilands, Leuenberger
(Grundy, Daw)

Johnson, Pavlich, Rockliff, Robinson, Siposs, Karnezis
(Staker, Kennedy)

Backline: Goddard/Gibbs double seem to be in everyone's lineup, with good reason. Not sold on Broughton but he could prove me wrong.

Mids: Very strong. I agree about Moloney - he'll shine this year.

Rucks: I'd be careful with Sandilands; he's getting on a bit and missed a lot of game time due to injury last year.

Fwds: Hopefully those two uniques pay off for you!

Backs are fine though Pittard over Thurlow at this stage for me
I have doubts over murphys ability to cope with a tag so for me I'd go for maybe Redden?
No problem with Moloney personally except I generally avoid mid pricers in the midfield, strictly guns and rookies in the mids for me, but i see his appeal.
Pav has had an interrupted preseason so just be aware of that

Likes
Good structure
Like the pick of Siposs, great unique could go big
Generally sound rookie selections

Dislikes
Hearing bad rumours about Toumpas' hip, would prefer a Crouch or Kane Mitchell for cheaper.
Broughton, better options that you can afford with the above reccomendation, such as Heppell
As thefuzz said, I'd also prefer Pittard to Thurlow, for now at least.

Ratings
Backs: 8/10
Mids: 8.75/10
Rucks: 8/10
Forwards: 8.5/10
Overall: a solid side that is well-rounded across the four positions. Could use another pod but Siposs and Karnezis are good. 8.37/10

1) agree
2) Also agree, I'd prefer Jelwood over both Redden and Murphy though, has a great first 12 rounds pre-bye
3) I'd rate Embers ahead of Moloney but still a sound choice. I'm going pure guns n rooks with the partial exception of Fyfe, he is more of an underpriced premium as he should go 100+ if not 105+.
4) Don't think that'll have that much of an impact on Pav's scoring, I would prefer other alternatives though as I can't see Pav improving that much, still a solid pick however.
