First attempt at my team, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys,

I thought that I would post my team and see what feedback you can all give me on my first attempt at my team. I'm a bit unsure of some of the players I have picked. I'm not sure if Tom Mitchell will get many games this year, but I was thinking of swapping him out for Jones from Melbourne. I'm also a bit unsure of Monfries although I have heard that he will be getting more time in the midfield. I also think my Forward line might be a bit of a risk, with so many of the players coming back from injury.

Back line: Goddard, Gibbs, Grimes, Heppell, Bock, Stalker, (Colquhoun, Goodes,)

midfield: Ablett, Dangerfield, Fyfe, Monfries, Shuey, Gaff, K Stevens, O'Meara, ( T Mitchell, Viney)

Rucks: Goldstein, Leuenburger, ( Grundy, Currie)

Forwards: Darling, Gray, Varcoe, Lecras, Broughton, Rockcliff ( Lee, Macaffer)

Money left over: $1400

going the mid priced approach. could work, havent actually seen it work though.

backs - solid. 4 premo's, just keep an eye on grimes/bock. Bock might be underdone come Rnd 1.

Mids - 3 premo's?? (115+) + Fyfe/gaff (105ish), Monfries (90ish) just a tad weak mate. i can see what your doing hoping they make you some quick cash but im sure you'll fall behind when other teams will have 4-5 super premo's (120+) on their team.

Rucks - standard.

fwds - 1 real premos in there. Gray wont be ready come Rnd 1, LeCras/Broughton (85ish), Varcoe/Darling (80ish).
downgrade a few players to rookies and upgrade the others.

Thanks for the input,

What do you think of downgrading Bock to a rookie, and Grimes to Yarran to free up some cash. Then I can get rid of Gray and Broughton and bring in Roughead and Martin. It doesn't really fix my Midfield but it would make my forwards line a bit stronger. I also think Darling could have a breakout this year with Kennedy back in the lineup, so he would probably average more than 80.
