hey guys just want to know what you think of this as an initial sqad

backs: gibbs, waters, duffield, lake, pittard, stevenson
docherty,telrich.
mids:  swan, ablett, cotchin, fyfe, embley, wines, o'meara
hrovat, viney
rucks: sandilands, leuenberger
rowe, currie
forwards:franklin, cox, wright, martin, kennedy, byrnes
staker, macaffer.

this team leaves me with $5,600

I wouldn't be picking Bolton in the forward line as there are better options around his price such as Martin, Wright or Sylvia.

Yeh Bolton is my only major concern there reddragon. We saw a significant decrease in his average last year so i wouldnt expect a sudden bounce back to his 90+ days. Like Kellogs said, look at Martin, Wright and Sylvia. Also which Kennedy is that in your fwd line?

Your Backs are very solid. Duffield is a nice POD, as is Waters. Not having Goddard is a bit of a concern but I'm sure you have your reasons for not starting him. Lake is also a bit risky, mainly in that we don't know how Hawks will play him.

Mids are very solid. 4 premos, 1 midpricer and 2 rooks is a good structure. We will know more about the rooks come NAB cup but they look about right.

Rucks are perfect. Again Rooks can be sorted out through NAB.

And Fwds are strong with the exception of Bolton.


Other than that a nice squad there mate. My issues are a) Bolton b) not starting Goddard and maybe c) Lake, but that one could go either way.
