Got some really good POD's i think in Hawkins, Roughead, Jack, Lewis

I'm tipping Hawkins to win the Coleman so makes sense i have him pretty strong F5

Nice first team. A couple of points.

* Defender depth is a little shallow. I would take a 4 prem line in both Defenders and Forwards instead. If your set on hawkins i suggest you downgrade Lewis to a rookie and start both Macaffer and Staker at F5 & F6. Then find a prem D4 (Duffman?).

* Suggest you should swap Wines for Kane Mitchell. Ready made player who should rise in price quicker. rookies are of cours placeholders until nab cup form anyway  ;)

* Not starting buddy is a risk, not one i will be taking but ballsy so good luck!

Keeper27

very solid team, im still favoring the 4-4-1-4 premo structure.
light in the back, love the roughy/cox DPP combo.

rooks are subject to change wont comment, but looks good.

good luck

thanks guys

defender structure will depend on which rookies get named round 1

Buddy has a really tough draw early on he will drop in price plus i refuse to spend 1.2 Mill on 2 players in the forward line and i'd rather Cox over Buddy

Jay

Would prefer to see Broughts at D4 mate - dont expect all those back rookies to play, gotta have at 4prem in there I think mate. Thurlow and Osborne dont seem the best rookie options Colquhoun? Terlich?

Midfield is almost identical to mine - Jack and all! Hope too many other dont take Jack, think he will tear it up this year

Good to see rucks a little different - Roughy is a good pick, very consistent

Nice selection of premiums in fwds, but 500k for Hawkins? No thanks...

kilbluff1985

thanks Jay my whole structure usually depends on which rookies are named round one for example if 6 mid rookies get named that i want i might start with 4 mid premos

Hawkins like i said i'm tipping him to win the Coleman so i think he is worth it

yeah Jack is an awesome POD ;D

Jay

yeah if you like Hawk then go for it mate - good luck ;D

Btw Im struggling to keep up in the race to Vet...

Solid Team KB - Appreciate your structure will change based on rookies so will just comment generally/  Not sure of cash left.

Def: Watch suns use of Broughton in NAB cup may be a key defender.  Not real keen on 3 prem def unless have a rookies who will play consistently. Yarran may be an option at D4 if cash allows.
Mids: Solid Nice POD with Jack.
Rucks: Solid with Dpp to cover.
Fwds: Solid - Nice to see you sticking with gut feeling on Hawkins well done.  Not sold on Lewis though would prefer another maybe even downgrade to martin, Robinson or Breust who I think may go big this season.  Agree with reasoning on Buddy and he is not in my team either,

Good luck

Sabretooth Tigers

G'day KB, love your team and ESPECIALLY the structure of making defence the weakest line in your team. The way I see it
get 22 players  on the field that can score you the most possible points consistantly.  Fill the strongest line first and of course the weakest last. Hard to suggest things without knowing your cash splash balance but I'm a little wary of Geelong not playing at home until round 10. Stevie J doesn't need to aim at SS, he knows where everything is. They play 3 at the G, 4 at ES then 1 each at SCG and AAMI. Have you had a look at D Pearce for a defence spot ? Might be a nice POD who may possibly break out at a new club (how long's Mundy out) with the opportunity of mid time. I may be mentally challenged but I'm thinking of making what I call a couple of reverse trades. ie. Starting 2 or 3 players I think will score heavily early but then drop off,   then down trade them to a couple of lower priced players that are killing it and whose prices are about to rocket. Get the points and the money. 30 trades is a lot, why not burn a couple by plan ? Like I said maybe I'm mentally deficient. Reckon I've done at least 300 drafts but probably have only settled about 16 positions. Cheers and best of luck.

i'm pretty settled on the 3 defenders i have unless i really don't like Broughtons role in the NAB doubt they will change

Jack is one of those guys who will score well early then drop off i think
