im happy with the fwd line and ruck looks the goods to me.
maybe need to swap staker up to def before the start of the season waiting on rookies to emerge
yarran and bock are gambles but im sure i can pick up someone scoring alright for them if they dont work out

MC

Def: Bock and Yarran are both risky, i'd take one of them (likely Yarran) and trade Bock to a more reliable defender.
Mids: Good - I don't mind the mid-pricers like Ball - especially as he's priced at a 60ppg average, and will likely get 80s pretty consistently.
Ruck: Standard, same as mine.
Fwd: Sylvia? Not too sure. Same with your defenders, a few risks here. Also NicNat is returning from injury, and hasn't been running yet I don't think - definitely an upgrade target later on imo.

Overall a good, fairly consistent team.

Reasonable Team here

Def: Would look at upgrading Bock - Bock with no pre-season will be under done and will present an upgrade target if form is regained. Do not know cash situation but would look at Grimes. Duffield, Hanley etc.
Mids: Solid Line here no issues
Rucks: Standard no issues DPP to fwd as well.
Fwd: If Nat does not come up replace with Cox,  Sylvia may give you a roller coaster ride so be prepared and Gray is rumoured to be missing the first 4 games.

Solid Team rate 7.5/10 but can improve with a little tweaking.

Yeah is pretty much all gone. Yeah if nic nat is underdone cox straight in. I know bock and gray are risky but I really don't want to be running to many rookies. As for Sylvia what can I say I'm a dees supporter i  got to keep the faith. If gray doesn't show for the first couple GRAY to rookie and upgrade bock.   Cheers guys!

Mate Robbie Gray isn't gonna start playing until april so definiatly get rid of him for someone like t. Lee and that would free you a lot of cash and use it to upgrade bock to a premium defender. Because currently your forward line is loaded whilst your back line only has 2 premiums. Also I wouldn't start of with Nic Nait due to his injury i would go with someone like Ryder so you still have the DPP link with the forward line and Ruckline and it will also free you some cash.

Other then that your team is looking pretty good
keep it up mate

Cheers guys

ive revised my team due to the suggestions made.
ive changed nicnat to cox, if nic nat is under an injury cloud that can only be good for coxs score.
changed gray to rookie started staker in fwd6 and changed boak to duffield.
What does everyone think of yarran this year? ive got high hopes but could be a massive spud
Im liking this even better team even better thanks for the help guys.

I would look at moving one of Broughton or Staker to your defence so you can utilise their FWD/DEF DPP throughout the year. Also it's impossible to tell but your ruck bench doesn't look likely to play to me, IMO Daw is in front of Currie and Orren Stephenson is infront of McBean. Especially since you are not using him as a FWD/RUCK DPP with anyone.

hi crouchy
not real fussed with the rookies just yet will decide there makeup closer to the season.
the idea with mcbean is to just have him there in case berger goes down i can backup with cox and have him on the bench in the fwd.   agreed i might put staker in the back line but at the moment i think there are better rookie options in the back so im freeing up space

This is a better team - Just a few comments

Yarran just see how Mick uses him in the NAB cup.  If he uses him as a Heath Shaw type running out of defence then he will score well but if playing lock down roles scoring may suffer so watch.

Agree with Moving one of Broughton or Staker if can be done for additional flexibility.  Although agree with your comments there will be more defence rookies than forawrd rookies.

Sylvia only the other concern can be very inconsistent so be prepared for a roller coaster road - had him for the last 2 years so you can see my hesitations.

If you need to look at another ruck who may play games at a rookie price look at Max Gawn from Melbourne who with Martins departure may get games.

Still tinkering added mcaffer to back line and put broughton to the back line.
Is mcaffer worth it
Is not having buddy going to hurt.

Lots of support for macaffer here but I think it's much the same as any rookie: NAB cup and starting round 1 will determine most/all of them!
Personally I think Buddy is priced high and will almost certainly drop, the draw isn't kind to the hawks (opens with: Cats, Eagles, Pies, Dockers, Roos, Crows, Swans) so I think he'll be a handy pick up later in the season. But always the chance he'll rip it up, who knows?
