CASH LEFT: $161,200

I got Roughead last year and he went well and provides DPP cover
Have Gibbs, Broughton, (Goodes, Colquhoun) as BAC DPP
No MID DPP ATM (will look for rookie one or put Colquhoun there)
RUC standard & - Rowe DPP
Have Roughie, Varcoe, Staker, Wellingham, Kerridge FWD DPP

Not at all convinced on Wellingham, Varcoe Yarran just put them in....

Please let me know what you think (veryrough team atm)

Question mark over Waters fitness atm, but otherwise I like the backline.

Midfield is pretty good I reckon, I like Caddy's POD, been a standout in the cats pre season.

Rucks as you say, standard, but quality.

The forward line is the clear weakness, Having both Franklin and Roughead, possibly a bit dependant on Hawthorns performance and yeh Wellingham is one to watch. I do like Varcoe however.

Thoughts: Try and strenghthen up the forward, so possibly upgrade Wellingham to Rockliff with that extra cash in the bank. I think Goddard is a lock, get him for Waters unless he is injury free. Honestly I'm not a fan of Luke Ball for 2013 but he is so cheap, but yeh a solid start mate.

Thanks mate

Im not 1000% about Goddard yet cause of new club, want to see what role he will play and how he gels with the team
didnt know about Waters so thanks for the info

Yeah Buddy and Roughie risky can change roughie just wanted that DPP cover

i think Caddy can go well this year, new environment and est team/bodies around him to help
interested to see where/what role Wellingham play - Rocky was the option but not sure what the hell Vossy will do (im a lions fan an still have no idea)

I went Bally cause of the price not sure how he will bounce back will have to see how he goes in the NAB cup

no worries

Yeh well im a Goddard fan, love him no matter what club he's at haha

Yeh not sure about Wellingham, isnt a proven scorer and steps into an already strong midfield. have to wait and see, well yeh im a cats fan so you'd no best but I rate Rockliff and Redden as the Lions best midfielders so I cant see him playing forward, surely.

Yeh exactly.
