Nice Team Cortez -
Just think you are a prem short in defence.  Do not consider Bock a D3 at all.
Maybe downgrade one of your mids Murphy or Fyfe and get a prem Defender.  With having 6 vitrual prem mids at the moment maybe a bit much as defence is suffering.
Not overly convinced of Bartels new role either at this point in time is a watching brief.
Interesting Ruck combination in Ryder and Berger although you dpp with Natanui.  Have not sine this one as yet in any proposed teams so maybe a sound POD for you.
May be a bit harsh with a 7/10 rating but can be improved if strengthening defence.
Like most team may struggle to fit under Salary cap when prices announced.

The view I'm taking on my backs is that they are the lowest scoring line with most of the prems struggling to avg 100 so I feel that I can leave them to last to upgrade and stack the lines that avg high like the mids and rucks and also I made sure I have a lot of prems in my mids since last year I went with 3 at the start and got left behind. And cheers for the ruck synopsis, think it will work very well. I have just tinkered with my side a bit to make sure it should be under the salary cap once prices are released, I reckon I will wait on Jimmy and see how his new position up forward affects his scores. Like the changes. Understand your strategy as well.

With defenders wait till which rookies are named as you need them to play.  Going on last year will be surprised if Docherty lines up in Round 1 unless he has a stellar NAB cup.

Bear in mind Daisy has undergone surgery as well so may have a slowish start in your forwards.

I your thinkiing mr cortez I have not posted a team yet , far to early but I am looking to stack my midfield and see what I can come up with in the back and forward lines . Having a weak midfield with 8 leaves you open to be put out of overall fairly early in the season.

Back premiums are the lowest scoring and therefore are the lowest price type premium.
It's all based on score vs price. If a mid averages 90 and a defender averages 90 they will both have the same price.
Mids rookies are often higher scorers than defensive rookies, so if you can change a prem mid to a rookie and upgrade say Terlich (who apparently will be listed as a mid next year) to a prem you'll have more balance and less dependency on defensive rookies (particularly early in the season).

I like the Bock, Watson, Selwood, Fyfe, Ryder and Varcoe picks.
All will have great years and will be premium POD's.

Left a lot of money in the bank so obviously you are well prepared (too) for price hikes.
Great mids, ruck and fowardline... just a little soft in defence

Due to natanui possibly having no pre -season due to groin surgery would be tempted to replace with Cox. Using Nat as an upgrade. Daisy in similar vein. Gutsy forward call without Buddy though

Solid team there cortez.

DEF: Rumours about Bock not being right for round 1 so watch. Pedersen imo is a luxury at that price although has R/D DPP. Maybe look at downgrading Pedersen to Colquhuon and upgrading Bock to Grimes (not sure of prices).
MID: Very strong line - Maybe looking at downgrading Martin to a rookie for cash.
RUC: Ryder interesting choice may come off.
FWD: Watch Daisy to see how he comes up after recent surgery.  If cash allows when re jigging team may look at upgrading Varcoe.

Overall solid team 8/10 only minor tweaking imo.
