i suggest getting B Staker for either varco or sylvia either way you need to get sylvia out of your team.also get someone like watson instead of abblett, he is a god i know but it will give you 100,000 extra cash with it you can upgrade mumford who is to injury prone to someone else. just dont get nic nat hes gonna miss the first couple of games

Seriously, I'd drop Reilly for a rookie. Your midfield lacks serious depth so use the money to get another super prem, even if you have to drop Ball.  If Mumford stays healthy he represents serious value and could be a standout selection.  I'm not a Sylvia fan, he usually will find a way to disappoint, and of course keep a close eye on Bock's progress. So get rid of one or both of Sylvia and Bock and stick Rockliff in your forward line.  Varco could be one of the value picks of the year if he stays healthy.  I've got the Buddy/Cyril double as well and think it just might work. Defence, fowards and Ruck are absolutely great!
Obviously you can't have it all but if you need to have a lot of rookies in one position then the midfield is your go.

Reilly out for Bulldogs Goodes. You would think they have to play him if they are going to draft a 28 yo. Ball out for Watson...I not convinced on Sylvia or Bock as have been burnt before, but just got a feeling about Sylvia this year, playing for his career at melb. Bock well coming of a knee so need some luck there. Can score well

Only concern I have with this team there is not a lot of flexibility via the DPP. When finalising team look at rookies with DPP to allow movement between lines.  With the change in rules this year I personally believe you need DPP to take advantage of loopholes ocurring.

If Concerned about Bock and Sylvia have you thought about players with a R/F DPP (Cox, Naitanui, Ryder, Roughead to name a few) to put in the forward line and then using Rowe or Sincclair as 4th Ruck allowing movement back,

Just a simple comment to assist you and sorry if this sounds a little harsh but feel I have to say this to be kind and assist..

Do not like the current structure you have at the moment.

Most teams will be looking at starting with at least 15 keepers prem players.
Their structures will be 4 prem defenders, 5 prem mid fielders, 2 prem rucks and 4 prem forwards.

At the moment your midfield has only 3 prem (I do not consider Sylvia a prem mid).

Would suggest you look at replacing some defence and forwards with rookies to improve mid field.

I had already rejigged my side since my last side.. This is current side with 13 prems.. I'm not sure how you would fit in 15 prems in the original side, but if you can then well done as i struggled to get 13. I have got plenty of DPP options with goodes can swap with Gibbs of goddard, staker and Broughton also kerridge with martin rtc, the only area i dont is the ruck, but cant have everything.

I prefer Team1 with the following suggested adjustments:

Def: Swap Staker and Broughton as I think Broughton will be running the ball out of suns defence.  Replace Reilly with a rookie

Ruck: Would look at replacing Mumford with Goldstein as I think the new Ruck rules will disadvantage Mumford.  They favour the more athletic types like Nat, Goldy, Berger etc. Another suggestion would be to replace Witts with McBean and bring Nat, Cox, Ryder or Roughead into your forward line.

Forward: See if you can upgrade Varcoe to a prem Forward with Ruck/F DPP with money saved by downgrading Reilly.

This year with the change in rules imo will be the time of guns and rookies with no mid pricers apart from Berger.

Rate the team as it stands 7.5/10 and a solid base for tweaking.
