With Gray still on the comeback from injury, Varcoe in my team along with lecras as the best two forward cheap options at this point.

Gray is going to have no pre-season so I'd say that Varcoe is ahead of him just because of that at this point.
Probably won't play round 1 either. :-\

I worded it wrong, meant i have lecras and varcoe, because gray is not ready.

Ah reading that again looks like I've misinterpreted it.

Looks like the consensus is Gray out Varcoe in. ;)

Menzel, Mitchell, Crouch, Wines, Membrey, Jaksch and co...all cheaper and in my team atm... Varcoe isn't...but might be. I see him as a 60-90 pt player most weeks. He represents value and will make money but I'll only get him if I can afford him...I won't have him if his price stops me from getting a premium I want in R1. Pre-season and R1 teams will determine the make up of my team.
