With Lecras price going way up then the original fanplanner price, will you start with him in your team?

Yes, He is still a bargain at 355k

With Lecras moving to 355k, i still think he is worth it. He averaged 86 in his last year he played and I see him maintaing that average, epecially if he could get some midfield time as he occasionly got in 2011, what do you think?

Chelskiman

Yeah, it's a tough one.  Even if he was 300k I think he would just about be a lock but that extra 55k makes all the difference.  Went from being a "dead set lock" to a "hmmm, maybe a bit risky at that price".

We have all been royaly Sc***d by VS this time, nag darnit! To hard to go with mid-pricers who arn't really under priced like Lake and Porps :-\

Ajax22

No way. A minimum average of 90 should be required for forward keepers this year and I don't see him achieving that. At best I could see him being a F7. For me he had to be sub 300k to be worthwhile, anything else and it's not worth taking a punt on a guy recovering from injury that hasn't shown quite enough in the past.

Football Factory

I say Nah to LeCras .. too expensive, i think VS are trying to kill off the ol midpricer   :(

Windigo

Way too much for a strategic gamble IMO.  :-\

Toga

it'll probably come down to what my final team looks like heading into round 1... for me, i could come down to:

D. Martin + Fyfe/Redden or LeCras + Swan

So I'll have to weigh up my options if it comes down to that :-\

Damn you VS! :'(

Slap

Im pretty sure he used to pump out the larger scores when he ran through the mids..  but with the emergence of Shuey, Gaff, Masten etc. etc.  over the last few years (especially last year, when Lecras was injured), this may lead to a perma-fwd role for Lecras?  If so, i'd imagine it be tough to break the 85 ave he had.

13Brummy

Nah, 60k too much for me. Won't get as much midfield time as he did in 2011

henry

Had him locked before his price was out, not anymore.

Ricochet

At that price i just dont see the point anymore. He won't become a premium and will only score a little more than other much cheaper options

Adamant

Nope. Might as well go with Sylvia or Cloke instead for like an extra 20k... at least they are potential 90+ average keepers.

I'm still not sure on him. He is expensive, but may still be a bargain.

i'd like to see some accountability from VS on this, they should have to release a statement on why they think he should not get a propper discount! Fair is fair but they along with CD and SC scoring seem to be rigged for some reason

How can they expect anyone to pay those premiums when he's coming back from serious injury? Knights is only his low score because he couldn't actually make the team, not through injury

I would only consider him now if he was 50% discounted. like- he averaged 86 last year fully fit, but apart from that he's been a very average dter.
