Bones Bombers

Bones Bombers Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by bones351. Salary cap left: $310,700.

Brendon Goddard, Bryce Gibbs, Dyson Heppell, Greg Broughton, Cameron Pedersen, Dean Terlich
Jasper Pittard, Sam Colquhoun

Gary Ablett jnr, Dane Swan, Scott Pendlebury, Jobe Watson, Trent Cotchin, Oliver Wines, Troy Menzel, Brad Crouch
Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney

Todd Goldstein, Matthew Leuenberger
Majak Daw, Liam McBean

Dean Cox, Tom Rockliff, Steve Johnson, Mark LeCras, Travis Varcoe, Jake Stringer (Brent Staker, Brent McCaffer)

My plan is to start with the best mids so I don't have to try to afford trading them in. Back and forward premos should be a little cheaper.
Probably haven't taken a lot of risks.
Rookies/cheapies are changeable before rd1 but I'm pretty happy with it ATM. Goldstein isn't actually my favorite ruck but his price makes a lot of possibilities.
What do you think?

The new player prices are out for sc and now on fan planner!

made a team fitting inside the new prices:

TEAM NAME: WOW
DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, G. Birchall, N. Bock, B. Thornton, J. Pittard (B. Staker, D. Terlich)
MID: S. Mitchell, J. Selwood, T. Cotchin, M. Murphy, L. Ball, B. Crouch, A. Morabito, J. O'Meara (J. Viney, B. Goodes)
RUC: I. Maric, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, L. McBean)
FWD: L. Franklin, C. Rioli, S. Johnson, D. Cox, R. Gray, S. Mayes (T. Menzel, K. Jaksch)
CASH LEFT: $58,000

Thornton might seem risky but he only cost 270k which is a bargain even though he will score 70-85 and will play every match most likely at GWS

B: not bad bock is super cheap but concerned about his leg thornton i would put a MASSIVE line through pittard is really under priced and should get games

M: i really like this great prems are great wouldnt mind seeing one of gaj pendles swan or watson but really good.

R: nice cant fault that

F: pretty sound a big no to robbie gray way to injury prone no matter what his price

8.5/10 for mine nice job mate

B: I like your perms and your rookies, but not sure about Bock and Thornton.  Watch Bock closely during pre-season. He had a pretty bad injury and players are typically slow coming back from that one.  Thornton seems a little over prices for the output you expect from him.  He won't make you huge amounts of cash so unless you plan to keep him you can probably get better.

C: Main criticism is that you probably need one of GAJ/Swan/Pendles/beams/Watson for captain.  Otherwise good effort.

R: Nice.

F: I think you have too much cash on the bench. I'd look at downgrading at least one of Jaksch, Menzel or Mayes and invest the cash on field. Also Gray is a real risk. He's seriously injury prone.

Backline: nice and strong and not too expensive which is great
Mid:Really strong aswell, should be set for most of the year apart from upgrading cash cows later which is what everyone does.
Ruck: nice choice, leuenberger great choice, and good point about goldstein
Fwd: Just a tiny bit too light, but when the rookies make their money you will be able to uprgrade so it's good for the start.

Overall: one of the better teams i have seen and i'd rate it 8.75/10

Fwd: cox and buddy really good choice and thomas is good, krakouer is cheap might avg 70-80, staker is a good pickup but lecras cost 369k now that the new prices are out
