Can i give you my updated version instead? :)

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, J. Grimes, G. Broughton, N. Vlastuin, J. Pittard (D. Terlich, S. Colquhoun)
First thing that strikes me here is that 75% of your premiums have the Rd13 bye. Not a massive issue in such an early stage of planning but when a player like Birchall or Hartlett offer almost exactly the same thing it's hard to ignore purely for structural reasons. Vlastuin I'm not sure will get regular game time, most Tigers supporters are tipping him to be fringe all season so I'd be very surprised if he lined up round 1 let alone playing regularly enough to make quick cash. Of course we won't really get the full picture until post-NAB but at this stage I wouldn't be counting on him. Similar sort of situation for Terlich and Colq but I have a bit more faith in them.
Overall it's very sound, Vlastuin is the biggest issue I have at this point and that's an easy fix. I'd suggest one of Goodes, Osborne, Clurey or Thurlow to replace him, but it's not a necessity at this point. 9.0/10

MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, J. Watson, T. Cotchin, A. Embley, O. Wines, A. Morabito, B. Crouch (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)
GAJ, Pendlebury, Watson and Cotchin would all end up as top 5 mids in 2013 so nothing to complain about there (lots of cash though) but Embley is a really peculiar choice. While he does offer value at 220k he is 31 and I can't see a way for him to out-earn some of the better midfield rookies in 2013. I feel like Jones, Mitchell and even Menzel give you about the same for a lot less. Goodes would be another option and could give you a D/M MPP link as well.
The rookies all look good, pretty standard, the main mid rookies are already surfacing and they're all there so tick for that. Embley is really the only qualm I have about this midfield, feels like he's only there to fill the void that Ball left but I highly doubt he'll be able to achieve the results that Ball would have. 7.9/10

RUC: T. Goldstein, M. Leuenberger (M. Daw, B. Grundy)
Probably going to end up the most common ruck line-up and for good reason. Goldstein is the perfect replacement for Nic Nat and with so many people getting caught out on the salary cap he is a bit more affordable than most premium rucks. Leu, Daw Grundy are all good. I'm a big fan of finding PODs but sometimes things are popular for a reason and this is onoe of those times. Not going to do much better than this. 9.3/10
FWD: L. Franklin, T. Rockliff, D. Thomas, M. Robinson, D. Martin, B. Macaffer (B. Staker, T. Lee)
5 forward prems! :o
Couple of interesting selections. I haven't seen Daisy Thomas in many teams even though he should end up a top 5 forward and is slightly underpriced. Really nice choice and if he somehow slips under the radar and becomes a POD all the better. Robinson I  am not as sure about, turns the ball over a lot and his disposal efficiency is fairly low. This is somewhat offset by the contested nature of his game but he is also constantly getting suspended and/or injured. I am not sure that he will end up proving that valuable an asset. Wellingham, Breust and Wright all offer a bit more in my opinion for a similar price. It's really a judgement call though.
I'd also swap Macaffer out for one of Staker/Lee although not sure if that's just because of fanplanner putting who it likes on the bench. 8.4/10

CASH LEFT: $21,700

There it is anyway

Summary: Looks like a really good start. Couple of strange mid-price choices and a few rookies I'd avoid but those are popping up in most teams this early in planning.
Some bye issues could arise in the midfield and backline and unless you plan on going for the Rd 13 tank I would address it in at least one of those lines.

Rating: 8.6/10

Wondering if people want teams rated even though none of them are going to fit under the cap...

Other than felsty it would seem.

Could I get this more realistic team rated instead?

Backs: Brendan Goddard, Heath Shaw, Beau Waters, Matt Suckling, Jasper Pittard, Sam Docherty (Tom Clurey, Dean Terlich)

Mids: Gary Ablett Jr, Scott Pendlebury, Patrick Dangerfield, Josh P. Kennedy, Luke Ball, Brett Goodes, Oliver Wines, Tom Mitchell (Jaeger O'Meara, Jack Viney)

Rucks: Todd Goldstein, Matthew Leuenberger (Daniel Currie, Brodie Grundy)

Forwards: Lance Franklin, Dean Cox, Dale Thomas, Andrew Krakouer, Mark Le Cras, Brent Staker (Joe Daniher, Ben Kennedy)

Cash left $49,000

Cheers mate really appreciate it, haven't played a lot of supercoach so still finding my feet

DEF: B. Goddard, B. Gibbs, H. Hartlett, J. Grimes, J. Pittard, D. Terlich (S. Colquhoun, L. Osborne)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, T. Cotchin, A. Embley, O. Wines, A. Morabito, B. Crouch (J. O'Meara, J. Viney)

FWD: L. Franklin, T. Rockliff, S. Johnson, D. Thomas, D. Martin, B. Macaffer (B. Staker, T. Lee)
CASH LEFT: $3,100

Changed a few things on your recomendations.
Vlastuin > Osborne
Broughton > Hartlett (Byes)
Watson > Kennedy (Byes)
Robinson > S.Johnson (Underpriced because of a 0, also struggled with injury through a large chunk of the season, should bounce back over 105ppg imo)

Would love to know more on what you don't see on Embley, i think he's terrific value. Averaged 95 in 2011, averaged so low in 2012 because they eased him back from injury as the sub to get him right for finals. He was terrific in the finals series, fairly certain he averaged over 100 and was one of the eagles best players.

Cotter101

This is greatly appreciated, deleted my other post as I decided this is the team I want rated. :)
I've seriously been considering Matthew Wright from the Crows, not many are going to have him so he could be a good POD and is cheap.

Would appreciate if you could critique this team for me Sid!

Have checked and it definitely fits under the cap.

Def: B. Goddard, B. Waters, B. Gibbs, D. Pearce, G. Broughton, C. Pederson
(B. Staker, L. Osborne)
Mid: S. Pendlebury, T. Cotchin, M. Murphy, D. Mundy, K. Stevens, T. Menzel, J. O'Meara, B. Crouch
(K. Mitchell, J. Viney)
Ruc: S. Mumford, M. Leuenberger
(B. Grundy, M. Daw)
Fwd: D. Zorko, T. Rockliff, D. Thomas, D. Martin, N. Bock, J. Stringer
(J. Daniher, B. Kennedy)

$9,000 left over

Not really convinced on Forwards but happy to take a weak ruck into the competition provided both increase in value (which Bellchambers and Leuey definitely should). Figured Pendlebury and Murphy are two good captaincy choices. Anything you'd recommend?

Ah, shower. It's coming guys - I promise. Have heaps of stuff going on in real life at the moment and haven't had the time to do these. Going to lock this thread. That doesn't mean I won't do the teams that have already been posted. But the ones that have will take me 4+ hours to write up as it is and if more people keep posting I fear I'll never catch up.
