  • reckon Varcoe is worth the punt, at worst he'll average 60 odd, have good JS and have a handy DP link. at best he could flourish in a running defender role and average 70+ and be a top cash cow.
  • Hamling will come in handy for a DP R/F and be a captain loophole non-playing rook (if that makes any sense)
  • A decent semi-bye structure is starting to come together to get the most out of it.
  • Robo averaged 100 prior to injury

What are your thoughts?

its me lads

  • I see where your coming from but I disagree, i don't think Varcoe will be safe or reliable.
  • Good idea as Calvin suggested, should be very handy.
  • Always good to take into the account at this early stage so you can be as prepared as possible for the real thing.
  • Bit more of a unique this year. Good last year, poor scores came from injury and Brett Ratten putting him in ridiculous roles like forward tagging. New coach Malthouse should see him play Midfield and could easily average 100+. Good option.

DEF: Good, can't fault it.
MID: Good apart from Varcoe IMO as i stated before.
RUCK: Good combo, very popular
FWD: Nice

I can't really fault any lines in particular but I just feel as though the team is lacking a bit of BANG, you have a lot of spare cash, I feel like maybe going from Ball to another Premium might be the way to go but overall good team.

Mr.Craig

The thing about Mitch is, he's such a loose unit. I had my heart in my throat so often this year when he went in for bumps/tackles and he was lucky none of them resulted in a sizeable holiday. I'm not sure I could live with that all year but if his form demands it I'll have to get him in. So best of luck, I hope he works out for you. :)

Looks like a decent team, should score nicely.

BACKS - Very good, of course Colquhoun will need a rookie elevation prior to round 1. Not a fan of Hamstring Hartlett. More personal reasons than fantasy ones though :)

MIDS - Very valid point on Varcoe and a strong line. Only thing would be no Wines? Looks the best DT rook this draft?

RUCKS - Stock Standard, love the Hamling idea (opens up a tab for DT TALK as he types)

FWDS - I would watch how we use Nic Nat. Coming of groin surgery he might be used in very short bursts through the middle and predominantly out of the square. For me he is an upgrade target.

Good team man, above average but there isn't much you can fault this early in pre-season :)
