MATTHEW Pavlich doesn't mind where Fremantle's new training base is located - just as long as it's an improvement on what he considers one of the worst two facilities in the AFL.

I completely agree with Pav.  Whatever is best for the club is where I want them to be - if its in Fremantle or Cockburn, I couldnt give a stuff (although Cockburn is closer to my house and I would be more inclined to go to more training sessions)

In a way I am disappointed that City of Fremantle has not gone all out to maintain the Dockers at the Fremantle oval precinct, but like Valk,I reside  close by to where the new facility will be.I reside in Success and will be a good dog walking exercise to go watch them train.
There really doesn't seem to be all that much angst about the decision, but maybe I am reading the wrong stories.I would have thought that those who were so upset may have stormed the Meeting at Cockburn CC Tuesday night.Have they just now conceded that it is inevitable that it will happen!!

I think they are just whining like little girls because they didnt get what they want.

I would have thought that the pro Fremantle bid, would have had a big voice at the annual members meeting. It wa a real surprise to me that Only Chris Lewis got on his feet and spoke about the move or non move as it was at that time. Here were those who hated the move!!It is no good moaning after the decision has been made.To say it was always going to happen is B/S.had they made a strong enough case to keep Freo in Freo, the two Steves and the board would have had to have second thoughts.
I am not sure it will really make much difference to the membership.
We are in the state of denial over a few things at our club.We want to win a flag, yet we donmn't want to progress as a cvlub.
We as a club have become a huge bunch of whingers who would rather bag our club and players than run in support of them.
There is another site,an unofficial site for FFC, and it makes sad reading when you see some post on there regarding everything Fremantle.I wonder if many of them are actually Fremantle members.
It is a bit like the proposed march to keep the club song,a lot of people there made a lot of noise and there was going to be thousands march to the tune of the Vulgar boatman. But where were they!!Hardly any in sight.
We have this wonderful agreement with the club and the WAFC to have a vote on member elected board member.Yet how many actually vote!!How many actually turn up at the meeting.
I wonder how serious some of them are in wanting us to succeed.
