I reckon that's why Port didn't pick him up in the trade period coz they didn't want to give anything up for him and they know no-one is intersted in him so they'll pick him up in the pre-season draft for nothing. They would be incredibly silly not to pick him up. Would be interesting to see what the Port supporters say about him.
Yep exactly. They would have only got one compo pick instead of 2 if they picked up Russell so smart thinking from Port  8)

Borderline in the Pies best side, if he has a great pre-season is worth it at his price. Will watch.
