Brisbane's 3 rookie draft picks.

No real surprises with our 3 picks of Nathan Hayes, Jordan Bourke and Callum Bartlett re drafted.  maintaining our push on getting forward depth.

As we did not use our PSD pick we will have a senior position open to promote a rookie if required prior to Season start.

Brisbanes other rookies with Hayes, Bourke and Bartlett are:
Justin Clarke
Sam Michael - (Player of the NEAFL final)
Richard Newell
Steven Wrigley (Showed promise when promoted as a result of injury)

Will be an interesting decision on who to promote and obviously will be based on form and attitudes on the training track.

I would think it would be Bartlett or possibly Wrigley that will get to move to the senior list at the start of next season. Both have shown a lot of promise in the senior games that they have played. Wouldn't be surprised if Michael gets a call up for a few games as well though, he was very impressive in the NEAFL last year.

Bourke must not be that good though... (played against him) because he did get rejected by both GC ad Geelong ???   :-X

Point taken Lez - Think GC wanted Boston more than Bourke.

I dont believe GC wanted him at all. They could of gotten him at pick 70 in nat but declined.
