Read the manual that should be in the glove box.  It will tell you what warning light number 7 means.

Nah the link in the OP went to a google search for ford warning lights so I figured you probably had a Ford. :)

It it's number 7? Which someone said number 7? Then it's temperature, you'll also see that symbol on your separate temperature gague (sp?) Probably need more/new coolant or some shower like that.
