The notion on fattening cows is no longer totally relevant, they make the most money in the first two three rises, then swap them to the next bubble

exactly. 100k per trade now becomes acceptable

What I'm doing is starting with a guns/rooks midfield. Then after 2 Rds i'll trade my worst performing premo (highest BE) too a mid-pricer (200-300k) with a low BE. This could be Embley.

E.g trade Swan for 690k - Embley 260k = 430k
Three weeks later
Trade Embley 400k - Swan 600k = -230k

You make 230k and only miss out on Swans scores for 3 weeks. This allows u to upgrade quicker.

your also assuming swan will start at slow. If you really think he will go from 690 to 600 than you shouldntr start with him.

Embley wont go up that much in 3 weeks either.

Im using this strat too but instead im going highest BE premium to rookie than keeping him for 1-2 rounds than trade back. Should make more money .

yes but i just think Swan for 4 rounds and a rookie for 2 will outscore and make more profit than 6 rounds of embley

Don't ever get rid of Swan..... I did it last year for Stanton (don't ask me why) could never get him back.

and the year before I got rid of him for Watson, who went on to get injured!

the plan for me is to hold the cash in the bank. So i can get him back in. the next round
