Phil Davis

Team - Greater Western Sydney
Height - 197cm
Weight - 94kg
DOB - 30-08-1990
AFL Seasons Completed - 3
Total AFL Matches - 40

2011
Team Position - Key Back

Average - 51

Games - 3

Comments - Only played rounds One, Three, and Six, before having his season ended very prematurely by injury.  He showed leadership & poise and was touted early in his career as a future captain of the Adelaide Crows Football Club, before announcing that he would be heading to GWS at the end of 2011.

2012
Team Position - Key Back

Average - 72

Games - 22

Comments - It was almost a break-out year for this young-veteran.  In his first injury free season, he played all 22 matches & was a key player for his young team.  Clearly a player with strong ability & leadership capabilities will see him lead from the front as his younger team-mates grow up around him into a dominant AFL force for years to come, at only 22 he has many years of improvement ahead of him and you'd have back him in to become a great player over the course of his career, only baring injuries.

2013
Phasir's Prodicted Average - 83

Verdict - He is at an awkward price, but I won't rule him out if he has a great pre-season & shows through the NAB Cup that he can regularly produce the 80+ scores that he's capable of.  Could also be a relevant pickup depending on the byes which are yet to be released.

Good write up, but a pass for me. Would rather Bock for around the same price.

Yeah, like Adam said, Bock a much better option.

I personally won't have him for that price, but he is at least not injured unlike Bock who has a ? hanging over his head
