Michael Johnson
Price: 474 900 (Fan planner)
2012 Games: 22
2012 Ave: 89
2011 Games: 22
2011 Ave:  72
Tons:  8
Highs: 129, 121, 120, 105, 105
Lows: 54, 56, 57, 58, 68
Position: Def/Fwd

Johnson stepped up in 2012 with the best season of his career averaging 89 points and playing every game. Johnson has enjoyed his new role under new coach Ross Lyon playing as the sweeping/loose defender, the same role as Sam Fisher played when Lyon was the coach of the Saints. Johnson has shown in the past he is a good Supercoach scorer with averages of 87, 84, 84 and 85 from 2006-09. Johnson has had some ups and downs in 2012 with low scores of 54, 56, 57 and 58 which was frustrating, but he would then pump out a big score the next week and had some big weeks of 129, 121 and 120. With Johnsons DPP it ishandy and he is someone to watch through the NAB Cup to see what type of role he has. If continues to play as Freo's loose man in defence than he is someone to consider as a backline premium in 2013

2013 Supercoach Point Average Prediction: 85-90

Cheers JROO  :)
Will look at MJ as an upgrade target if he is smashing it I think.

Yep completely forgot about it. There is no way he will be def/fwd he played in the backline all year

MJs average improved from last year but he still had some dud games this year. Wasnt very happy with these either as most occurred after i traded him in to my team.

I wont be starting with MJ next year either but maybe an upgrade target

+1 I got every one of those crap scores and only 1 good one. Was super cautious/doubtful on trading him in but others convinced me, plus there was no-one else due to byes plus he had DPP. If he was guaranteed the role of loose man in defense then maybe. Even then opposition teams are realising how pivotal he is in that role and locking down more. And with Lyin' in charge who knows what can happen. Too many lock-down roles for him.
