GC got Broughton for Nothing and Murphy for Free

I agree with tbag, both needed senior players but the Suns landed Murphy and Broughton whereas the Giants only picked up Gilham. I'd say Gold Coast win.

In regards to the actual trade period it would have to be GC. Picked up exactly the sort of players that will have an immediate positive impact.

Giants still lack the experienced bodies, they will be an exceptional team, but think the Spoon looks likely again next year.

Though with the amount of change the Demons went through.....
