Goddard, 27, is understood to have turned down Fremantle’s latest lucrative offer last week.

The hard nut Saints veteran looks certain to head to the Bombers on a four-year contract after he ruled out a move interstate to continue his playing days.

Obviously SNF is a questionable source but I think it's going to take more than 840,000 a year to get him to move now that Essendon has upped the offer again.

I thought Freo's reported offer was $3.4million over 4 years so if it was all about the money then this doesnt make sense to me
