Goddard and Gumbleton is my tip  ;)

And secure 1 of Hogan, Mason or Lee and then fill up on midfielders with the rest of our picks.

Goddard, 27, is understood to have turned down Fremantle’s latest lucrative offer last week.

The hard nut Saints veteran looks certain to head to the Bombers on a four-year contract after he ruled out a move interstate to continue his playing days.

Obviously SNF is a questionable source but I think it's going to take more than 840,000 a year to get him to move now that Essendon has upped the offer again.

Is Freo where all the dud forwards go to die

Cicjose

yes

there is no reason to pick Gumbleton......

any of the draftee forwards are better than Gumbleton

we do not want to revalue Gumbleton

i would rather have Essendon have to keep him to remind them that they wasted their number 2 pick

Capper

sounds like the dons bid for BJ is growing and i think now its a 2 horse race between Freo and Dons.

Interesting article. Watters saying it was all about the money

http://www.watoday.com.au/afl/afl-n...ey-watters-lashes-goddard-20121002-26wa1.html

QuoteThe Saints had the chance to match the Bombers' offer â€" believed to be worth about $2.9 million over four years â€" but decided against doing so, which meant Goddard yesterday joined Essendon as a restricted free agent.

I thought Freo's reported offer was $3.4million over 4 years so if it was all about the money then this doesnt make sense to me
