Mitch Wallis (Western Bulldogs)   - requested by Aidan's Blues

Position: Midfielder

Price: $391,900 (FanPlanner)

2011 Games: 6

2012 Games: 19

2011 Average: 55

2012 Average: 83

2012 Tons: 4

Big games: Kangaroos (119), Giants (107)

Summary:
Can't say I watch too much of the Bulldogs, but its obvious this kid can play. Came runner-up in the 2012 Rising Star award after a solid seconds season that saw him increase his average by almost 30 ppg. Reasonably consistent in his scoring apart from the odd 60-point game and a sub-affected 22. Sits in a team which, in my opinion, is unfortunately only going downwards and is in desperate need of some more talented youngster, so I'm not sure if i can see his average improving too much next season, but he has a terrific mentor in Matthew Boyd and will not get tagged.

Verdict:
Not for me. Very awkward pricing this year given this year's break out, seeing him priced higher than the likes of Embley and Ball who will be your go to men should you want a mid-priced M5. Can't see him increasing his average enough to be a a worthwhile option unfortunately, certainly not in the mids at least.

Predicted 2013 average: 85

Good write-up  :)
Not really considering any 'break-out' mids this year...too awkward price and the success rate is very low.

I reckon next year he can go a bit bigger and push towards a 100 average i will give him a good lock in and he may make his way in my team.

+1
Although will probably look at Boyd as an upgrade target.

Some of the very best scorers are at struggling clubs, Boyd, Ablett, greene, Redden, Zorko, Ebert, Watson, Murphy, Cotchin

Geez bombers, blues and tigers supporters would be happy to hear you call them struggling clubs  :P, only just missed out on finals and all had their patches. Get your point though and it makes sense as there is a greater role for these players than there would be in top 8 sides.
