After showing a lot of promise in his debut season, but a knee injury has prevented him from making an appearance on the AFL scene in 2 years.
Because of this Morabito will be basement price in 2013, and with a mature body, AFL experience and a strong pre-season may be a better option than some of this years draftees. Choosing him over a Whitfield or a Wines will even save you a significant hunk of cash.
Despite his price whether Morabito will be a popular option relies heavily on the reports coming out of WA this pre-season.

If he is named round 1 he will should be one of the most picked players in the competition, and rightly so.

Too hard to say because I haven't seen him play footy for two years, he could average in any range between 50 and 80...Maybe more...or less (:-\) - 78.

Side note: Sorry I haven't been making as many profiles recently guys - Exams keeping me busy.

Kellogscrunchynut

Been on my watchlist ever since it was clear that he wouldn't play this year.

Could be a good downgrade target, but after a year off i'd much rather see his nab form, plus at least a fair few "proper" games. Draft pick 4, means he must have talent, but it comes down to playing regularly, and showing consistency. I'm not sure but wasn't he close to playing towards the end of last season, or did he suffer more injury?

Jroo

Will be a superstar in a few years. Should get games and a good rookie option, but surely a chance to be the sub?

Torress

have heard rumours - only rumours that he isn't a great trainer? not a good atribute with lyon at the helm.

just my opinion and i couldn't care less if i'm wrong, but from what i've seen i wouldn't say he is a future superstar! he could of got a game towards the end of season but i read his fitness wasn't there- absolutely monitor over pre season. fitness improvements does wonders, in comes confidence, ect.

not sure what i really think of him, so far its been mostly hype with him imo. unproven.

quinny88

Wouldn't be confident in him playing full games early even if named round 1. Think ill give him a miss but its early days

He wont play NAB.

he said he should be playing nab a couple of weeks ago if everything keeps progressing as normal?

Hagebear

Too many good rookie mid options this year to justify starting Morabito.
