Statement from World XV's Administrator

Responding to the report from the Australian Crime Commission World XV's administrator has released a statement.

The troubling events announced in the last few hours and days threatens to undermine Australian Sport at every level. The WXV will of course completely cooperate with any investigation from the Federal Government, and join in the univeral scorn directed at the Essendon Football Club for causing all this in the first place.

As one of the largest and newest major codes in Australia, all results, players and coaches will be heavily scrutinised. Any AFL player found guilty and suspended in the AFL will be matched by WXV, and players made to wear dresses if and when they return to competition.

There has been no evidence of WXV officials being involved in any illegal activity, and all shall have our full support until proven guilty. We realise that some of these coaches look guilty, particularly CrowsFan with his shifty eyes, but that is no reason to give him suspicion.

The World XVs will, like other codes, create an integrity unit. The implication is that nobody in the WXV Admin and the Admin of individual coaches has any integrity, so the position will be created from outside.

Anyone who comes forward now will be treated less harsh. Just please don't set the mob waste management companies on us.

I think we gave our players performance lowering drugs first half of last season. Surely we can't be penalised for that? ::).
