2011 average: 65

2012 average: 78

after playing every game this year Bastinac is one player who should be aiming to step up to the next level in 2013 to help North Melbourne become genuine top 8 contenders after losing only 3 games after their bye which included a stretch of 6 wins in a row.

Bastinac finished 2nd for disposals, 10th for marks and goals, 3rd for inside 50's and goal assists, and top 10 for clearances, rebounding and marks inside 50.

if some or all of his midfield mates can stay on the park with him i expect big things from him in 2013.

Leigh Adams, Liam Anthony, Ben Cunnington, Daniel Wells, Jack Ziebell all missed large chunks of the season in 2012, due to injury or suspension leaving Bastinac with a lot on his shoulders.

With 3 scores over 100 in his last 5 games I believe a breakout is looming

expected average: 105

Yeah I predict a breakout oo, cant see him in my team though.

Adamant

Breakout is definitely on the cards...just too big a risk to have him in the MID's.

Windigo

Too many other quality options in the midfield this year.

No doubt he will step it up in the future!

Capper

His standard deviation is way too high. A low of 44 and a high of 138 (against GWS) isnt good.

Its a no from me, too many other good mids to pick from

silky

handballs too much, doesn't tackle enough. won't average over 90 i don't reckon

Ricochet

Not taking a risk in the Mids, especially on a 3rd year "potential" breakout player

Good end to the year, but cant risk potential breakouts in the mids :-\

Spinking

Looks like a weed in that photo.

Going to be a gun, but another year or so away for me.
